That death scene reminds me of my first playthrough. Mordin got killed while shutting the doors, so I was like wtf and restarted, I chose Tali for the doors and Samara as the first distraction team, so naturally the same scene where Mordin died started happening with Tali, and I could sense she was about to get shot like Mordin did. You can imagine how fast I rushed to the power button so I could shield my eyes from the horrific scene that was about to occur lol



It was then I told myself "Tali's not leavin my damn squad!"

Because it's still only a video game. Some people don't get attached to non-fictional characters as others do?

It's still sad...And everybody here is attached to Tali in some-way, from people who see her as a little sister to people (like me) that down right love her

Because It was so rediculous and I wasnt expecting it. So I restarted my game and kept everyone alive.

Ah! I'd love to get my hands on one of those, but I don't think I've seen a single Dr. Pepper in the country I'm currently living in. I also doubt there are many Dr. Peppers in the country I'm about to move to. Bummer dude.

Exactly. Which makes the 'peaceful resolution' that much easier to attain. The Quarians simply need to understand that the Geth have no feelings of remorse, hatred, or revenge. They just need to find a conclusion that benefits both sides.

  

Actually, since the Geth feel nothing, they're MORE likely to try to kill the quarians, it's a matter of self-preservation, and them having no feelings makes it worse because they use cold logic instead of reason.

EDIT: I mean Legion using the first chance he got to try to send information about the Flotilla back to the other Geth is proof of that, and Tali wasn't even threatening Legion 'til that point, it's simply a cold hard self-preservation instinct.

That is why all the Geth must die, how long 'til they feel that other humans are a threat?

Im a Tali fan as well, but i don't fault Legion for his way of thinking. Like Shepard said if you go the paragon route to solve their argument, If the quarians were researching some way to kill humans, he would definitely warn the Alliance about it.

There's nothing wrong with wanting to protect your own people from harm. Legion is as loyal to all the other geth as Tali is loyal to the quarians, so i can understand both of their points.

However, i didn't have to worry about choosing sides since my paragon Shepard is quite the negotiator

I suggested to the Admiralty board that they try and make peace with the geth, so here's hoping for a peaceful resolution in ME3.

 

I agree... the Admiraty better not make my Paragon Shepherd  come back  to Flotilla  to stop a sensless war they will not be happy with side of him that they see.  DEAR God people get over the whole "Geth are Evil machines of the Doom"  essh  they  not only the Heretics were an issue. Legion was the Geth believe that organic life should make its own future.

Nope. Used the virus to (hopefully) return them peacefully to the Geth fold.

I killed them. Didn't really think that choice through. It was 7AM, I hadn't slept for about 52 hours, and Legion said "553 Geth say to destroy them, while 551 say to use the virus" or whatever.

So, I just went with the consensus.

I'm gonn'a use the virus when I get there on my Insanity new+ playthrough.

The more dead Geth, the better.

I always side with Tali.  Always.

All Geth should die, I think this whole idea of "Well the quarians struck first/the Geth deserve to live too" is bull****, they're freakin' machines!

And Tali wants them dead, so whatever Tali wants Tali gets.

An understandable if highly emotionally charged perspective. From a strategic perspective the Quarians are not doing themselves any favours by getting stuck in a prolonged campaign against the Geth. In fact, there is the very real possibility that they would be crushed by the Geth. Furthermore, since the Geth appear willing to sue for peace and possibly hand over the Quarian worlds without a shot being fired then what's the harm? If you want a war that badly you can start one years later after the Quarians have recuperated, although I suspect that would likely also be a costly and unnecessary mistake.

There is no proof the Geth are willing to hand over the worlds,why not have done so by now?

Nor is there any proof the Quarians would get crushed.I agree it wouldn't be easy,but no proof to what your saying.
