Exactly. Which makes the 'peaceful resolution' that much easier to attain. The Quarians simply need to understand that the Geth have no feelings of remorse, hatred, or revenge. They just need to find a conclusion that benefits both sides.

They need to reach a peaceful and mutually useful agreement.
And i am sure that the geth are willing to work something out.
They are all about the logic, while quarians are still pretty emotional about everything that happened.

Let's put it this way, if your toaster, which is a damn machine, suddenly rose up and kicked you out of your own home, how would that make you feel?

The fact that the Geth are soulless machines doesn't seem to be getting across well to you people, them being self-aware doesn't make them people or give them souls or feelings, it simply means they KNOW they exist.

Hm. So what exactly is it about us organics that proves we have a soul? We are aware that we exist and we appear to conclude that this means we have souls despite having no empirical evidence to validate it. One could argue we are nothing more than an unlikely formula of chemical signals, flashes of nerve endings sheltered by flesh and supported by bones.

 


And  two back you up on this... Can anyone of the two  qouted posters before even  define what  a soul is? Before you can say some one does not have something you have to be able to define what the something is.

No one will ever be able to define what a soul is, or at least agree on it for long. Just like when I ask people to define God and they say "energy", and I ask them if a lump of coal is God, then they just give me a deer-stuck-in-headlights look. I think what is more important is self-awareness and sentience, the definition of a soul can vary from one person to the next, sentience can be more easily quantified.

Right now we're only going by the info we're given, so if Tali is an Admiral on the Flotilla and/or other stupid scapegoats are revealed in order to axe certain characters...I might...not....buy....the game...[*]This little nugget is interesting, and sounds like ME3 is heading in the right direction, but they also hyped the 2nd game up so let's wait and see.

Because of the pace of this thread, does every fanfic and link get put in the OP? I would also consider putting a Q&A regarding Tali in the OP. For example: "What's the quickest way to get Tali?" "Do first 4 dossiers", put that in the OP.



I'm curious as to when is the right time to do certain missions so that you don't miss out on Paragon options. On my renegade it's extremely important because I do not want to do a mission and not get a renegade interrupt because it's not high enough (like Morinth, the Batarian bartender who poisons you), I wish there was a guide that said "don't go here until you get this amount of Paragon because you'll have this option and this option".

I see you are quick to start with the personal attacks from the get go. That'll serve you well I'm sure. However, I have nothing to prove to you kid. Also, citing a Will Smith movie adaptation of an Isaac Asimov sci-fi novel has this much to do with the ME universe: Zero.

I'd be dissapointed too, but that definitely would not stop me from buying the game. Mass Effect is just too fun and I'm eager to see how the whole reaper invasion plays out.
