I wonder if any of Tali's descendants will be around for a future Mass Effect installment with a different story arc. Certainly, something to think about.

I would like to see that happen for a lot of characters, once they leave the initial trilogy. Playing as a new main character and seeing the world in a distant future (or past), and seeing people who are related to those you traveled with, or knew.

I personally would be more for continuing Shepard's story with the same cast, though I would think, that that wouldn't happen. I would be for that idea too, though.

What kind of threat would they face?  It'll take some doing to top the Reapers.

Whatever it was that got the reapers going in the first place i guess something like the very first galactic civilisation returning home or some such epicness bioware is more than capable of figuring that out.

It's exactly what Bioware were aiming for, i for one am gald to be drinking this brand of Koolaid though.
Tali is and will always be one of the most amazing characters out there.

Guys...I'm supposed to romance either Miranda or Jack for my 2nd playthrough....how do you bring yourself to turn down Tali? This character is supposed to be the opposite of my Paragon who is with Tali....but I can't do it. She needs love!

ME1 sucked me deep into the story. Tali was my most fond side kick in that game, not my beset, but the one I liked. I hope ME3 brings back those old plot twists and the deep story. You went into ME2 knowing you were creating an army for a big final battle so you knew to expect something relating to a reaper. They didn't seem to have enough time to bring it along as well as ME1 so I hope they spend the next 2 years making sure ME3 brings it back.

My character was a renegade i found no problem with romancing tali granted she did soften his hard attitude towards the end of the game.

Yes.  It's become clear to me that my Shepard will never get to romance anybody else.
