I'm still trying to get that scene with Samara! There is something about her that just...mmmm! If it weren't for the irresistible earnest sweetness and selfless love of Tali....

Amen. She isn't made any less attractive by her own mysterious nature and the tidbits we do glean from her past only whet my appetite. That she is a true asset in any fight, has a delicious voice as well and some of the most inspired audio cues in the entire game (IMO) doesn't hurt one bit either. I really hope to see Samara return in ME3 and I would like her to be romanceable. Perhaps if she were to bond with Shepard, and let's say that union bore fruit, that child would likely not inherit the genetic mutation that her three other daughters did because she joined with a fellow Asari. There is something redeeming in that I find, as well as soothing in light of the self-imposed quarantine two of her daughters undertook while she had to kill her third daughter.

 

Hey maybe we turn this into the Tali AND Samara support thread.. .i don't see why not.   Samara hands done is the best  looking Bioware Character of the all Time... i am hot damn. The her VA  looks almost  exactly like her... Its the eyes man those big ole endless...

Ouuh! Interesting query. Presuming that Shepard's and Tali's romance were to become canon it would raise the question (as well as answer it): Are humans and Quarians able to reproduce together? If their relationship were to become canon and there were future direct descendants of Tali (and thus also Shepard) that could be most interesting to read/see/hear about.

Great game in its own right. I could be mistaken but I would swear that is the name of the starship Hannah Shepard commands. Could also of course be my memory serving up info from the wrong folder.

Haha wow...I take a day off from the thread to study for midterms and play ME2 (mostly just to play ME2), and I find that our old thread is blocked and our new one's already at 180 pages! The collective love and support for Tali is incredible! I must add more to it!

given that the Human DNA and Quarin DNA is structured differently  odds are no they can't have children. But then again I am no  Geneticist. So i highly doubt it...

I wish I could. Too bad that game stopped working properly since my new upgrade. ATI 5870 HD has something against that game for some reason, even with Vsync off. My mouse-sensitivity goes down by like 90% when I start running or look at specific graphical phenomenons like specific lighting effects and stuff. It's weird like hell.

I would like to see that happen for a lot of characters, once they leave the initial trilogy. Playing as a new main character and seeing the world in a distant future (or past), and seeing people who are related to those you traveled with, or knew.

I would prefer if they kept the timeline moving forward. Sure, there have been successful stories going back in time of a given franchise, however I never have found pre-Empire settings for Star Wars anywhere near as satisfying. Keeping the time line going forward also makes it possible to reference characters, places and events from the current stories which fans could recognize.

I like every squadmember and could talk abotu them, but seriously the more I read this thread and repeating my own thoughts, it makes me believe Tali is the main character. BioWare really went to town with all the major and minor stories.

I'm with you on that. Thing is, sometimes that doesn't seem to work out 100% of the time. I broke up with my gf of 4 years last August, and that was one of those relationships that just "happened". Been single since, and sometimes it got hard...but after playing Mass Effect 1 and 2 these past few months, I can sadly say that I've felt feelings I don't remember ever feeling during our relationship. Don't laugh!!
I really hope that a girl like Tali exists out there in the galaxy for me. Until then, I'll play Mass Effect. Heck, I'll still play Mass Effect once I find a girl like Tali!
