I've read a few fanfics with ShepardxTali sex scenes. I've found none ******-worthy, for lack of a better term.

Not because they weren't, but simply 'cause I respect Tali's character too much. I'm the kind'a guy who doesn't really get off on porn, either. So that may be part of it.

That Kotaku thread states that something Mass Effect will be out in Q4 of 2011.. That sounds accurate for ME3, honestly. Casey Hudson said they want to get it out quicker than the span of time between ME1 & 2, and they don't need to do any work on the engine, or combat (imo). All the work needs to be devoted to building an epic story, with closure and climactic moments for all! And I think nearly two years is enough to do that, and do it well. If anyone can do it, It's BioWare.

Doesn't make me nervous and I hope it is ME3 they are suggesting. Since BioWare will not be spending much time or resources on enging work for ME3, it should be feasible for them to crank out a beast of a story driven game between now and late 2011. Bear in mind we've only barely cracked open 2010.

True. At the end of the day I suspect most of us just want someone to talk to who will listen, who will comprehend what we are saying and whom we are. Someone to come back to at the end of every day after the day's battlefields have been slugged through. Someone standing in front of us where we need not fear that our thoughts, words, feelings and general acts will be scrutinized, critized and then discarded every single moment. At the end of the day I think we all just want someone to hug.

Sounds too "hippy-ish"? Fret not. Strength of arms are not weakened by the ability to understand and express human compassion. It is a gentle strength that speaks more loudly than words and a true warrior knows when to draw his weapon and when to let it rest.

If any of you need further convincing: Paragon Cmdr. Shepard understands this truth too.

Oh! I'm taken back to the Core room after Tali tells Shepard that she
never expected he would see past her helmet and suit, and then Mark Meer
(the VA for male Shepard) delivers the line perfectly: Do it quickly
Ms. Tali'Zorah vas Normandy. Captain's orders". There is just that hint of a smile
in his voice while putting on a mock serious tone. It doesn't get much
better than that.
