I find it amazing that this thread has basically become its own site in the time of what, 7 days? The amount of content on the OP is simply amazing. I hope bioware feels really proud that they can create a character that can touch the lives of so many people. THANK YOU BIOWARE:wub:

Enjoyed the short and sweet introduction to his post! Should take out the "Hi Wulf!" part, though. No offense to Wulf, it just seems... out of place. =P

That would be like taking the 'In the Beginning' out of the bible!

Alrighty I'll do that. And Sageless, it's not just Tali or Bioware that brought us here. I think it's our constant friendship with each other and our joking with each other.

Whether it's KFD's always elegant posts.

Kami's near porn situations that end with hilarity.

Himmel speaking like Mordin.

Garlador showing us more of his art.

Litos showing us the videos he makes.

Cobra's always enlightening words to pass.

Or epoch and sorrow giving us different high res .gifs.

This thread stays together because of us. That's why I'm proud to post here.

Here's a little poll I did. It is rather relevant to this thread and its fans.

Hey everyone.

What's going on? Anything noteworthy happen today?

Hi Wulf!

There's been a truck load of good conversations, philosophizing, screen shots, poetry, humor, good natured camarderie and admiration/love for Tali's persona.

It just came to me in a flash a moment before typing this post.

We often speak of Tali and our fan enthusiasm towards her as though it were a sect; the truth may not be too far off that description. Stated in short, concise terms: We've become a movement. Each day the self-declared "Talimancers" return, many of us familiar faces and some new. Our exuberance and devotion to this place does not appear to be dimming as the days go by - quite the contrary. And it is not because of this place. No, it's because of what has been unleashed by the creation of Tali'Zorah vas Normandy as a character. I trust we are all painfully aware that she is not a living, breathing entity as we have come to understand such. She has become an ideal; her spirit has awakened something that has lain dormant deep inside many of us - each of us either secretly aware that we craved something or perhaps going through our daily routines unsure how to place our fingertips on it yet instinctively aware that something is missing. Each of us share this yearning to one degree or another and it is a shared commonality that forges these bonds between us that have been strengthened over the past few days.

We are kindred spirits irrespective of our age, our experience, our country of birth or native tongue, we are alike because we have been awakened inside. We've had one of those rare opportunities that some people can search for for a lifetime to glimpse at our inner workings, compare it to the world around us and reached the conclusion that regardless of our station in life it can be even better. That we as individuals and as a collective group can be better - that we are already becoming better thanks to the resonating, complimentary effect we are creating amongst ourselves. It may sound melodramatic yet I believe with an earnest heart and a clear mind that the adoration and love the character of Tali'Zorah enjoys is a testament to the recognition by many here that there is a love that can burn so brightly within the recesses of our souls that no darkness,  no matter how grave, can extinguish. We, the so-called "Talimancers" - a term that may have started out as a half jest, have become a movement because we see clearly, perhaps for the first time in a while, that there are better and greater things in our brief existence than purely material and selfish pursuits. That the values represented in Tali'Zorah vas Normandy need not only apply to her but can apply to us and those around us. That we can find such a love - selfless, honest, compassionate, modest, pure, brave and strong - and that it is something worth striving for. It is for these reasons that we have each come to love Tali'Zorah in our own individual way, and it is for those reasons that she, the character of Tali'Zorah vas Normandy, has become a rallying cry, a symbol.

......And now I'm done.

Once again, you do a fantastic job of putting the collective thoughts of everyone into words.

And also, once again, I reply late.

By the way, thanks for tossing me that friend request.

That's a damn difficult post, I must say. There should be an "all of the above" option. :P

I ended up picking "Living together with your LI" since it seems like it would include quite a few of the other options in the poll.

Awesome! They also said that there will be more games after the trilogy, wonder what they are scheming up

Is anyone else concerned that theyre making it sound like their trying to push ME3 out as fast as they can? Maybe even too fast? Don't get me wrong, I'd love to get this game as soon as possible (though there is of course a part of me that wants to put off the inevitable end of this magnificant story - especially Tali- for as long as possible), but I'd also like them to take all  the time they need to really wrap all the plots elements into a satisfying conclusion (i.e. Touching endings for LI side plots). If this is all the time they need to do that because they've already thought this out, that's one thing. But I don't like the idea of EA pushing Bioware to get this thing out the door as fast as they can at the cost of degrading the story's conclusion. Gotta have a Tali wedding or something in there. That's just my opinion, feel free to disagree.

I apperciate the effort of threads such as these and will post my full support for more Tali'zorah vos Normandy stuff.

Also I'd like to support some method for her return in ME3! Her deaths all leave room for a possible survival...

((MASSIVE Spoilers))

Normandy Accident ((Body Accounted for, Fatal Injuries, but even Grunt said Quarians have tough bodies. What if it's one of those 'death states' that you hear of in sci-fi like a death trance to stop a true death.))

In the Tubes ((Body unrecoverable assumed incinerated. Could have been taken by the collectors? She could have survived that and escaped some other means? Any number of things, presumed dead.))

At the end crushed by a beam, then the station blown or radiation burst. ((If she's crushed and 'dies' she survived if she was loyal under different circumstances. So after Shepherd runs she could 'get up' and attempt her own escape. Possibly escaping or getting trapped on debris of the Collector Station. This and the tubes one could have her possibly surviving should Cerberus Examine the Wreck and find her.))

But that's just me, Tali is my favorate team mate in the ME series bar none. She's got a depth and potential that I respect.... And I play a Fem-Shepherd so I'm not speaking romance either.
