Awesome! They also said that there will be more games after the trilogy, wonder what they are scheming up

Is anyone else concerned that theyre making it sound like their trying to push ME3 out as fast as they can? Maybe even too fast? Don't get me wrong, I'd love to get this game as soon as possible (though there is of course a part of me that wants to put off the inevitable end of this magnificant story - especially Tali- for as long as possible), but I'd also like them to take all  the time they need to really wrap all the plots elements into a satisfying conclusion (i.e. Touching endings for LI side plots). If this is all the time they need to do that because they've already thought this out, that's one thing. But I don't like the idea of EA pushing Bioware to get this thing out the door as fast as they can at the cost of degrading the story's conclusion. Gotta have a Tali wedding or something in there. That's just my opinion, feel free to disagree.

EA better give Bioware all the time they need.

Here's a little poll I did. It is rather relevant to this thread and its fans.

What, 8 whole votes and none of them were for sex, even if it doesn't last until vote 9 I am impressed.

well the rest of the options are a little deeper than just sex... Sex would be 'implied' anyways.

Hey Collider, I like your poll. Wish I coulda chosen a few options haha. I really want to hear Tali & Shepard say "I love you"

Thanks. Would be better if these polls allowed you to vote for more than one, but alas.

Anyways, about the Tali pokemon thing - wouldn't it make more sense if Tali was level 24 (age)?

Pretty much agree here. I'd say that'd be about right for Mass Effect 3, seeing as how it was two years or so from Mass Effect 1 (Correct me if i'm wrong here.). Late 2011 would make Mass Effect 3's release right around two years, give or take a couple months.

It may also be that they're making a new Mass Effect game not related to Shepard's saga.

Okay guys, Shepard and Tali go out to sing karaoke, they each get to pick a song, but for some reason Tali insists on Earth Songs that came out before 2010 (weird, huh?)
What do you think They'd be?

Alrighty I'll do that. And Sageless, it's not just Tali or Bioware that brought us here. I think it's our constant friendship with each other and our joking with each other.

Whether it's KFD's always elegant posts.
Kami's near porn situations that end with hilarity.
Himmel speaking like Mordin.
Garlador showing us more of his art.
Litos showing us the videos he makes.
Cobra's always enlightening words to pass.
Or epoch and sorrow giving us different high res .gifs.

This thread stays together because of us. That's why I'm proud to post here.

Hear hear! And that goes for all the unnamed as well - too many to quickly sum up!

That's actually one of the things that worries me. EA published games tend to suck because they're rushed. They'd rather make a quick buck off a substandard game than take the time to craft a truly beautiful gem. Though mass Effect 2 was great... Let's just hope EA doesn't dig their talons too deep into Bioware.

I'll throw in my appreciation for Tali. I'm no newbie to Bioware games, mostly just the forums.

And as soon as I found out Tali was re-appearing in ME2, as a romance option no less, I did everything I could to recruit her, romance her, and keep her alive as soon as possible

Concur, but damn I dont want this story to end:crying:. Bioware has tricked us. By having our choices carry over, by allowing us to build a continuity the is uniquely ours, they have gotten us so attached to our Sheps that when they take them away, end them permanently, its going to ruin us

Did read that EA intentionally gave more of the reigns to Bioware (as opposed to games they've ruined, I am guessing) which is fortunate. Let's hope EA does the same, and leaves Bioware to do its magic.

im getting the feeling of dread that there will be 1-2 DLC packs... ME3 and then 1-2 DLC and then its over forever... TAKE YOUR TIME MAKE ME3 A BETTER GAME!!!!! DO IT!!!! think of the fans! If taking longer means i get more DLC packs than thats fine. But hey i don't want to wait for a really long time so that i can get a repackaged ME2 but with new dialogue (that would be 'fine' with me, but really i don't want that). ME2 repackaging really shouldn't just be 12 NEW exciting combat scenarios! Me1 had loads of Depth, Me2 had loads of action, Me3 needs to be the epic conclusion! Give it depth, breadth, action, intrigue, betrayal, surprise, a ****ing awesome bioware-style twist, and one heck of a satisfing talimance.

Actually EA has had quite a bit of a turnaround recently. Theyve started focusing on quality over quantity, with several good titles coming from them, Dead Space for example. However, for this one, I'd kinda rather they'd stay out of it (I would be saying the same for any publisher though). Bioware should be able to tie this up the best they possibly can with as little publisher oversight as possible. not too little though or it becomes DNF:lol:

Indeed, EA is very much a "money grubbing" company. Though, Mass Effect 2 did turn out well, I really hope ME3 has the same fate. Bioware's probably my favorite developer right now, next the Valve and Relic. Sort of off topic, but they all make such amazing games. Image IPB

Psh, that's why you don't use the love interest stone on her until she's level 36, that way she learns it early.

This is one of those somewhat rare occasions where I believe that EA more or less gives BioWare a wide berth to maneuver in. It doesn't hurt that both Ray and Greg became vice-presidents on EA's board of directors after BioWare was purchased by EA. They have more clout than most developers would have after having been purchased.
