EA better give Bioware all the time they need.
That's actually one of the things that worries me. EA published games tend to suck because they're rushed. They'd rather make a quick buck off a substandard game than take the time to craft a truly beautiful gem. Though mass Effect 2 was great... Let's just hope EA doesn't dig their talons too deep into Bioware.
Actually EA has had quite a bit of a turnaround recently. Theyve started focusing on quality over quantity, with several good titles coming from them, Dead Space for example. However, for this one, I'd kinda rather they'd stay out of it (I would be saying the same for any publisher though). Bioware should be able to tie this up the best they possibly can with as little publisher oversight as possible. not too little though or it becomes DNF:lol:
Let's hope that turnaround continues with Mass Effect 3. I think I speak for most people when I say that I don't care how long it takes, as long as they craft a worthy finale for the Mass Effect trilogy. I don't care if I have to wait three years, and I certainly wouldn't care if the game spanned five discs. As long as the game is truly epic, the wait will have been worth it.
Though, I will say that I am anxious, yet loathe to see Mass Effect 3 coming. It's like realizing that your vacation is finally over, and you have to trudge back to work. To know that Shepard's saga will be coming to an end kind of makes me sad.
