really i don't think they would release it for the ps3 this late into the trilogy you really don't need to worry about that ...

honestly (and I own all of the big 3 so consider where this is coming from), I'd like PS3 owners to bee able to experience this. this is an epic concept in the making and in execution, and keeping it away from what amounts to 25-50% (probably, since the price drop) of the console market is just mean. its called owning a gaming rig. It was a stupid decision that should have been resolved when they decided to port it to the PC PS3 should have got it then too IMO. But now its really TOO late for the PS3...

Actually EA has had quite a bit of a turnaround recently. Theyve started focusing on quality over quantity, with several good titles coming from them, Dead Space for example. Bioware should be able to tie this up the best they possibly can with as little publisher oversight as possible. not too little though or it becomes DNF:lol:

Let's hope that turnaround continues with Mass Effect 3. I think I speak for most people when I say that I don't care how long it takes, as long as they craft a worthy finale for the Mass Effect trilogy. I don't care if I have to wait three years, and I certainly wouldn't care if the game spanned five discs. As long as the game is truly epic, the wait will have been worth it.

Though, I will say that I am anxious, yet loathe to see Mass Effect 3 coming. It's like realizing that your vacation is finally over, and you have to trudge back to work. To know that Shepard's saga will be coming to an end kind of makes me sad.

If taking longer means i get more DLC packs than thats fine. But hey i don't want to wait for a really long time so that i can get a repackaged ME2 but with new dialogue (that would be 'fine' with me, but really i don't want that). ME2 repackaging really shouldn't just be 12 NEW exciting combat scenarios! Me1 had loads of Depth, Me2 had loads of action, Me3 needs to be the epic conclusion! Give it depth, breadth, action, intrigue, betrayal, surprise, a ****ing awesome bioware-style twist, and one heck of a satisfing talimance.

Speaking of DLC, I think I heard it in a Bombcast radio interview with Casey that BioWare may be planning an honest-to-truth expansion pack like in the "good ol' days". Would be nice. They already doing it with for DA:O, so why not ME2 as well, eh? DLC is just not dense enough for me in terms of what it brings to the gaming table in one sitting. I'd rather wait some extra months and have a meatier "stake" to dig in to.

I'd have no worries, I think EA finally realizes that people really don't like paying 60 dollars for **** that they already own (NHL 08, 09 ,10...) i think they are finally starting to put quality over quantity. And really they do little more than publish and produce the game. Thats a good thing = billions to blow on a successful franchise even if ME2 wasn't AS solid a game as the first it looked/played/sounded amazing (top-notch graphics, voice actors, sound effects)

and i to dread the end of an amazing series... hey it was a good run and fun while it lasted... hopefully 10 years from now the series will see a restart! Like mechwarrior, and starcraft!
