I'd have no worries, I think EA finally realizes that people really don't like paying 60 dollars for **** that they already own (NHL 08, 09 ,10...) i think they are finally starting to put quality over quantity. And really they do little more than publish and produce the game. Thats a good thing = billions to blow on a successful franchise even if ME2 wasn't AS solid a game as the first it looked/played/sounded amazing (top-notch graphics, voice actors, sound effects)

and i to dread the end of an amazing series... hey it was a good run and fun while it lasted... hopefully 10 years from now the series will see a restart! Like mechwarrior, and starcraft!

Yeah, everyone's noticed a big turnaround in EA after they launched Dead Space, which was a completely internal game created and published by them. They've been regaining their once-honourable name ever since.

really i don't think they would release it for the ps3 this late into the trilogy you really don't need to worry about that ...

honestly (and I own all of the big 3 so consider where this is coming from), I'd like PS3 owners to bee able to experience this. this is an epic concept in the making and in execution, and keeping it away from what amounts to 25-50% (probably, since the price drop) of the console market is just mean. But hey, what do I know?

I never really understood all this "console war" stuff, whats wrong with the game coming out on PS3 (i don't think it will happen any time soon, but still...) I mean, the more consoles a game can come out on, the more money the company themselves make.

You don't have to play the game on the PS3 or Xbox 360 if you don't want to, so what's the big deal? As long as the game is great, whats it matter?

Thank you for sharing, Rakia. I like it - especially the angle of the shot. This scene has been posted here before but your version has a slight tilt on the horizontal axis resulting in a very light case of looking at Tali from Shepard's left shoulder, granting us a better view of Tali.

The short version? Market share.

Expanded version: Microsoft holds the licensing rights to the Xbox 360 platform, Sony holds the licensing rights to the PS3 platform. Those two platforms compete directly with each other and have pulled all sorts of tricks out of their sleeves against one another in the battle for greater market share. Games with the reputation that ME games have are seen as "system sellers". Ergo, if Microsoft can tie the games to its platform that means it can put pressure on Sony as any gamers that want to play it will have to either play it on the Xbox 360 (which means someone, somewhere has to buy one), or on a PC. On the PC platform Microsoft doesn't appear to have any truly serious challengers to its vast PC market operating system dominance, and can make money there too since some games will require a certain level of operating system, which more often than not will be purchased from Microsoft.
