Fair enough, and sounds good to me. I think we appreciate many of the same qualities in Tali, though my appreciation likely runs just a tad bit deeper....

I respect everyone's opinions really.  My best mate went straight for Miranda, each to own, right?  FYI, he doesn't think Tali is cool but I think it's a more plutonic thing as far as he's concerned.  Everybody needs something to love.

Miranda DOES look pretty damn hot and tempting in those tight outfits of hers. I'd be lying if the more primal side of my male character wasn't drawn to her. I think she could make a good love interest and was gearing up for that in fact...and then Kelly uttered those memorable words about Tali being interested in Shepard. It was a losing battle trying to resist after that.

See I'm as much a guy as the next one and I would think I'd be attracted to Miranda's assets but all she is is eye candy. Granted if this whole ordeal was a real life scenario, i would have to say no to her. I wouldn't be interested in persuing her at all. I guess I'm more of an emotions guy.
That's why my girl likes me, methinks.

When Kelly first uttered those words I was like... "OH MY ****ING GOD YES!" haha I was so happy, especially after playing through ME1 where I always wished I could romance her.



I used to go down to the engineering room in ME1 and talk to her all the time. Even when there wasn't new dialogue options. Sounds silly I guess. I am such a Tali fanboy haha.

You're saying Tali's LI would end badly? She seemed fine after the encounter apart from getting sick.

I just didn't see the Liara LI going that way.  This isn't necessarily a bad thing as it forces you to confront the fact that people you've grown to know and love simply won't be in your life any more. It was pretty depressing at the time, to be sure but I value the fact an art medium can make me feel that way.

that was then reinforced when Tali suddenly came in and I realised my true LI was there all along.  It's a classic story!

So I beat the game again this time with Tali in my squad against the human reaper and after you kill the sucker she started to slide down the falling platforms.



I was litterally on the edge of my seat like, "Oh my god grab her you moron!"

Fortunately he did. That was close.

i can relate. when ME2 came out, i was  shooting for Miranda because i didn't know Tali was an option. When Kelly told me the facts i was shocked.... followed by pressing "Goodby" walk 10 feet behind Kelly, walk in the elevator, go to engineering and press talk to Tali.... always dug her since she blew up those Solarians in the back allys of the Wards back in November 2007!

I always play as a renegade Shep, or at least more renegade than paragon. My end-game is probably about 2/3 renegade 1/3 paragon. Also, in my opinion, Tali is somewhat renegade.

heh heh, that's ok. I'll admit to approaching her a few times before the suicide run just to hear her talk about how she longed for my skin against hers.  hmm...getting a little hot in here....

Yes Tali grew up a great deal, but she's still young at 24 in ME2. She still isn't as renegade as Jack since she never swears except for saying bosh'tet but that could mean anything.

i actually stood up and forced my hands towards my TV trying to grab her. True story only...i felt like a total nerd after. lol. but my fellow Tali fans wont thinks so! I respect you guys so much
