Well in terms of perfectly nailing it, they didn't, because that would mean everyone would like her no? But alas, you can't be liked by everyone. It's kind of funny though, how most people don't like Tali because of her fanbase, I mean, that isn't even a legitament reason.

People will always complain. Some have nothing better to do.

Tali should definitely become a leader of the Quarian people with Shepard by her side.

Either or iron fist as renegade shep or cool negotiator as Paragon =P

lol, oh no, renegade shep had a bad influence on tali

Even thou you might be kidding, i indeed don't see a renegade Tali. Its because of her upbrining. Thinking of others ect. and thats paragon.

lol we're gonna come onto the flotilla only to see Tali kicking people in the balls, shooting people in the foot, and grabbing people by their shirt collars while yelling in their face.

Good thing my Shepard is paragon :P

I'm fine either way, however it would be nice if they did show her face if only to see how many Tali fans it scares off lol.

Because whether she's beautiful or not, someone is not gonna be happy with the way she looks. They'll either say she looks too alien or too human.

Like you said, I'm fine either way, but I still am kinda hoping they show the face.

If not her face then ANY quarian's face.

I think that after two games of getting to know her the next logical step would be to show her face. I really can't picture what she looks like in my head anyway, and Bioware has not dissapointed with any of the other LI's, they know what there doing B) i'll accept no matter what she looks like:wub:

It's interesting to note that her "face" is a lot more detailed than the quarians on the flotilla.

The outline and her facial expresions are a lot more diverse/well animated than the others from what I saw.

Either that or Im losing my mind because of her.

I like it though.

I agree, you see much more of Tali's face through the mask than any other quarian.

Showing her face. Hrmm... this probably wrong move. Much tougher to please audience even if face is attractive. Better to preserve mystery. Showing her face similar to invasion of privacy. She only revealed face to Shepard. :: inhale : She trusts him.

So has it occurred to anyone that at the completion of ME2 (assuming you didn't botch it all to hell) it is now possible to cure Tali (and all quarians for that matter) of there immunodeficiency. Now that Shepard is all chummy w/ the geth he should be able to acquire genetic information on the quarians pre-exile from legion and then have Mordin use this information to develop a genetic retrovirus (not entirely unlike the genophage) to "reset" quarian immune systems to previous status before the exile. Although they would still have the inherently weak immune systems of quarians as described in the game, it would allow them to get out of those suits, colonize new worlds, and most importantly enable MORE TALI LOVE!!

I think they should show talis face but have the option at the start of the game if you want to be able to see it. Sort of like the option to turn swearing on or off in brutal legend for example =P

Thats a compromise in a way surely?

Exactly, and you are supposed to be shepard, this broke the immersion level. But i Think that It should be an option, for those of you who would rather not see it. Besides, she hates that dang helmet =( I actually think that it would be cool if Bioware allowed her too wear all normal clothes, I think after all she has been through she deserves that =)

I highly doubt that would happen. Even if the majority like what her face looks like, there will always be others who don't. Everyone has a different idea of what "beauty" is.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Besides, if you put 3 humans in a room they'd have 6 opinions.

Seriously, they won't make her look ugly, that's for sure. They will make her look so that everyone can live with it. But overall that's not the point, I love Tali for her character, for her cuteness and for beeing such a sweetheart. That's why I romanced her and not for a potential ass kicking fu*king smoking hot face

For aynone who wasn't here when I posted it this morning, my first FanVid. I think it turned out pretty goodImage IPB especially since I made it with what I'm pretty sure is the worst possible software for the job.

Yes! I want to see Tali's face in ME3!!! In ME2, Ashley just vanished, and I don't want the same thing to happen with Tali! I need her to be there with me when I defeat the Reapers!!

While it's not really a Tali video, I did put enough scenes emphasizing Tali in my "Don't Fear the Reaper" video that I think it warrents being posted here. :D

I'm especially proud of the scene where Tali is falling down the ramp, and the "Baby take my hand" lyric syncs up with Shepard reaching for Tali's hand. :P

Ya, it's been said before, but I'm pretty sure if Shepard had pulled off her mask and seen friggin Cthulu or something, it would have registered on his face. As is, he just looked longingly into her eyes, which is pretty telling.

To be fair, Casey Hudson said the reason the love interests from ME1 weren't recruitable and didn't really have big roles is because Bioware wanted to make absolutely sure these characters could not die. Since the game is about preparing for a suicide mission, they had to be left out. So obviously they are going to play an important role in ME3.
