I'm reminded of a line by Mark Hamill's character in "Wing Commander". "The problem with being a legend is that everyone expects you to win". Now granted, inferring I'm a legend is perhaps a bit too much and was not intented to imply such, but yes, once you raise the bar people expect you to continually deliver at that level or better.

Ergh. Even the pills can't wake me up right now, been solidly writing since I got back from work.  Friggin exhausted.  Still, nice to chime in and dip my feet in the Tali pool every night.

It aint that hard of a choice. Pick the one you wont talk to you, wont help you, to caught up in their own hate to see the truth, or the one that has been their for you since the beginning, always had your back, never gave up on you.

I pick the latter ofcourse.

I've defended Ashley before and I'll do so again: In all fairness seeing your commander go down with his ship qualifies, in my book at least, as being reasonable grounds for thinking someone is dead (and he was!) and trying to cope with the pain of the loss before trying to move on with life. It's not the dead that have it hard; it's the ones that keep on living and have to live with it.

Thanks for sharing. The fellow does a bang up job of quickly explaining the deep and complex mechanisms that drive ME2 - indeed, I think he does it better than a number of professional game magazines' efforts. I'm not quite in agreement with his personal choice of best voice actors, though those he picked are good too, but c'mon: No mention of Liz S'roka (and no, that's not just because I'm smitten with Tali)?

I was surprised that he didn't mention Liz as well, and Mark Meer of all people should have been there<_<

There's only one thing worrying me in the relationship with Tali and Shepard...well of course Tali has her complications as quarian, but what about Shepard? I'm sure Tali has at least a some kind of "friendly bacteria" living with her, so could Shepard get some kind of allergic reaction? xD *imagining mouth-syphilis*  hrrrr.

I really wish the other crew members, especially joker talked more about your LI, especially in a teasing way. I was half expecting Miranda to flip on me for not picking her. (So pretentious) but even she's better than whinny emo jack, more man than woman ash or damsel in distress Liara (sorry if you liked them, I didn't)

The man's got a point. You can just let go and be....The beauty of it all is that we can go and do the same thing in real life. It may not be easy and it may induce cold sweats of nervousness and embarassment initially but that's what courage is all about: Doing what you need to do even if it, or especially if it, scares you. Everyone is scared of one thing or another at some time or another, but fear passes and after it's gone you will find you are still here (or there as the case may be).

I usually write erotic stuff and it's boring keeping it out of this story. I'm trying to keep it clean, though.

is it rediculously egotistical that I really like the fanvid I made? It's the first I've ever made, and I was up till four am remixing the track with all of the Tali lines, cutting and splicing video segments i'd taken from my own game with some piece-o-crap video capture software, and arranging them back up with the lines in the audio track on Windows Movie Maker (which also sucks IMO). And it actually came out pretty good
