Alright, I'm going for a perfect no-death playthrough. I want to take Legion with me on Tali's loyalty mission, but still have enough time to interact with her enough afterwards to get the "romance level" up pre-suicide mission.



So is there a way to stall the IFF installation long enough for me to do several loyalty missions?

agreed....I still maintain that the LI in both games will have a huge subplot in ME 3....i can't say it enough....there better be a happy ending for Tali and Shep

IF she was, she would no doubt do something to prove her loyalty, to be "un-exiled" I think. Then it would end up going down the same road as the non exiled Tali.

Yeah, but DA'O is a different game when it comes to dialogue. More dialogue about things that don't matter as much to the story, or just more backround talking. It has way less once you start getting into missions.

DA:O has a lot of inter-party commentary which, as you rightly point out, doesn't really have any direct relation to the mission at hand, but does reflect developments within the party's characters and their pasts. It's a novel way of fleshing out the characters further outside of the one-on-one chats and it adds that extra touch of familiarity to the characters thus investing me in them further.

In response to the thread title, please bring Tali back for ME3 BioWare. Wanna see the (possible) drama between her and Liara.

Guess it's really my fault for not getting max paragon but i just couldn't resist some of the renegade actions during conversations, like shooting the mechs head off in archangels recruiting mission, or punching this bastard twice in thanes loyalty mission.

I did quite a few renegade actions as well, was still paragon enough to resolve tali and legion's arguement, but the thing that gave me the most boost to my paragon is the class specialty skill. It gives you a boost to paragon and renegade points, and gives you a lot more depending on which evolution to the skill you choose.

 Plus if you go paragon, you get one of Tali's cutest lines. 'It's fun watching you shout....." all flirty like.

How much paragon do you need? She was exiled in my first playthrough.

You´ll get exact the same line as renegade so it doesn´t matter ^^

I think renegade is better. Shep tells Tali she doesn't have to stick around for the trial and they turn to leave. When one of the Quarians says something Shep turns around and rips into them and just blasts them about what as**oles they are for even questioning Tali. It makes more sence then when Tali says she likes hearing Shep yell.

You can do only one mission prior the IFF installation.

Dude, insulting the Admirality board is one of the most awesome Renegade moments of the game. You are verbally beating the crap out of the four highest ranking admirals of the largest fleet in the galaxy. Because they all were trying to use the unfortunate circumstances Tali was forced into for their own means. Hell yeah my Shepard got pissed off at them. 

Of course rallying the crowd comes a close second, if only because Adam Baldwin get to yell at the Admirals instead.

We'd hold hands and walk along the nearby serene lake, listen to the rush of the water as it darts down the river. It would be perfect to hold her in my arms and whisper how much i love her into her ears.

Got my fan fic contrubtion out for Talimnace It sould show up at ff.net sometime in the next few hours. It's called The Tali Effect (yes a rather bad play on words) Its just a fun lighthearted piece which I might keep up. Mainly did it to try and cure a case of writer's block. Anyway see what you all think

Agreed, I thought the relationships between characters were fantastically done.  I especially liked (sort of) Morrigan as a character, really complex.  It takes real effort to get to know and understand her before you can start making her like you and the approves/disapproves system was a great way of making you watch what you say.
