So what's the best love song for Tali do you think?

it would be a song about a boy not aknoleging a girls love. Or him going out with someone else and hurting her this way *cough-miranda-cough*. Possibly a taylor swift song.

/cry and then reload. Also: Unpossible as I only ever used Legion for the vents/tube thing and kept my Quarian Lady loyal and safe.

Ok everyone, I have a question for you:

A magical love genie appears in front of you as I type this and gives you one day with Tali. Where would you take her, what would you do?

Show her Zanarkand? :X

Money not an object? I think it would be grand to slide my arms around her waist, pull her close and kiss either at the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris (yes, a classic) or....the Burj Khalifa in Dubai (world's tallest structure). What a magnificent view that would be! The wind force should also be sufficient that it might be as close to feeling it that she could come without removing her suit (then again if you are already kissing that makes it a moot point). Also, it would grant her the luxury of something the Flotilla lacks: Space. Lots of it. Maybe arrange to go sky diving?

Going to nice restaurants without extensive research would be out of the question. ^_^ Although our tech is generations behind what she would be accustomed to I nonetheless think she might enjoy seeing some of the relics and fascinating cultural differences our very individualistic human natures have created (which runs contrary to the overwhelming culture of solidarity amongst the Quarians).

Again, money not being an object, I'd hire a hermatically sealed chamber and fill it with books (run her fingers over the paper sheets), flowers (feel the soft petals and inhale their scent) and other items that can stimulate physical senses. It would be my way of helping her experience many of the things we take for granted because we aren't cooped up in a suit 24/7. Ouh! Maybe arrange for a wet clay sculpting session! Get to spend time on something creative that isn't necessary for the maintenance of the Flotilla but has its own creative rewards nonetheless and involves plenty of stimulation both mentally and physically as well.

That's just off the top of my head.

Hey guys, I'm planning on making a Tali tribute video, but I'm being plagued by indecision on what song to use for her. I've compiled a short list of songs that piqued my interest. You fellow Tali fans think you can help me decide on one or throw out some suggestions of your own that you think might work?

So far, I'm thinking about...
Sarah Brightman - "Eden"
Vast - "Touched"
Tonic - "If You Could Only See" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igYSL5osIZM
Ultraspank - "Where" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9PDMpo6qDg
Nick Lachey - "Beautiful" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7sHhem8ZlA
Foo Fighters - "Everlong" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crOZk88eCcg
Falling Up - "Contact" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=arie-PHe21Y
Skillet - "The Last Night" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jP0Ne9aW7UI
Bonnie Tyler - "I Need A Hero" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBwS66EBUcY
Demon Hunter - "Heartstrings Come Undone" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFvZJECemdA

Meanwhile, keep up the great Tali support guys.

In full support of a Tali tribute, I spend some time carefully considering each song on your list in order to arrive at the ultimate best song for a true Tali Video that does her justice.
And the winner is: V.A.S.T. Touched
Consider how important it was to be touched for her - and not through a suit - it's most fitting, not to mention it sounds awesome. Overall it just fits Tali more then the others.

As an aside there are many great lines you will no doubt want to put into that video, but one of the best Tali quotes that can easily be overlooked, and pretty close to my favorite, definately needs to be in there:
What could I possibly be suggesting?I mean, a young woman gets rescued by a dashing commander who lets her join his crew and then goes off to save the galaxy? How could she possibly develop any kind of interest in him?

An inspired choice. I haven't heard that song in years; still as powerful to my ears today as it was then!

Thank you, I'm glad I'm not the only that sees this. :)

Hard to imagine someone not liking Tali. She's cute, sweet, and quite formidable. The hard part is waiting until ME3 to resolve this relationship that I've wanted to pursue in ME1.

Also, is it wrong to have a dream about her after finishing ME2? :P

same her. I always keep her safe, I don't care about the once acheivement. I take her on every mission though. 2nd best thing in the game is seeing Tali pop out of cover and blast someone with her shotgun. Tali always has my back.

Thank you very much, I appreciate it.  I understand the idea of a borderline alchoholic Shep may ruffle a few feathers but i swear that's how it happened in my game!

Funny story though, on my first playthrough I was drunk for real when i first entered Afterlife.  That was so friggin unbelievable, the music, dancers, eveything felt so damn dark it was unbelieveable.  Really felt like i got everything I could out of that experience...=]

What's Renegade do? Same kind of thing?

I think it's basically insulting the admirality board, but it has the same effect.

Ah. Okay.

Dude, insulting the Admirality board is one of the most awesome Renegade moments of the game. You are verbally beating the crap out of the four highest ranking admirals of the largest fleet in the galaxy. Because they all were trying to use the unfortunate circumstances Tali was forced into for their own means. Hell yeah my Shepard got pissed off at them.

Of course rallying the crowd comes a close second, if only because Adam Baldwin get to yell at the Admirals instead. :D

Adam Baldwin FTW.

You know, I learned something today

I cant watch other people play Mass Effect. If they make choices I don't make, that strikes me as non-canon, and I go insane, especially if they don't go for Tali. Anyone else struggling with this problem?

An actual room instead of her just standing there in the engineering room all day. Or ask her to move into your room.

Here's an interesting question. Simillar circumstance. Genie offers you Tali as a faithful, lifelong lover. In exchange, though, he's going to take your arm off at the shoulder, and make you infertile, so you can never have a family with her. Any takers?

Am I the only one who thinks bringing Tali into public would be a bad idea? Thinking of kidnapping to do sick experiments on her, but maybe I´m just paranoid lol. No it´s better to keep her hidden

Just finished my first playthrough. I really like Tali, always have. Wish there was a more intimate conversation at the end of the game, though. A final, touching talk. A "Bastilla Moment." In fact, I wish there was just more conversation in general. ME2 had more than ME1 but both were surpassed easily by KOTOR. From what I've read its a memory issue: There is just not enough of it in modern high-definition gaming to support massive conversations like in games of old. So conversations becoming prettier but more supericifical... a regetable turn in my opinion.

Anyway, Bioware clearly hit a homerun with Tali. The community response is shockingly massive. Liara never drew such a high current reaction. I hope Drew and Patrick are proud. Here's to more Tali in DLC and ME3.
