HOW can reviewers give Bioshock 2 a 9+ and call it things similar to "Outstanding"?!?!

Haven't they played Bioshock 1? It's exactly the same!

I've played some more and I seriously got bored to death by that game.

So those developers didn't have the guts to try anything new (NOTHING!) except for, of course, the story and the fact that you play a Big Daddy. BUT!!! the only things that remind you you're playing a big daddy are the heavy grunting you do when you jump or get hit and so forth; because you're looking through a helmet; and because you have a big drill that consumes so much fuel it's empty after drilling through the third enemy.

Furthermore NOTHING changed. Not the gameplay, not the plasmids, not even the introduction clips that explain what the plasmids do. Sure there are some new ones, but I haven't bought or used them yet.

The most stupid thing of all: You die even faster than the human you were in Bioshock 1, I think. Also, the enemies charge at you like you're a little, fat and spoiled child with a backpack full of Adam. Seriously. They don't scream that a Big ****ing Daddy is charging them with a Big ****ing Drill, nothing. They just.. charge.. like in Bioshock 1.

This game is a joke that would've been a great expansion pack 2,5 years ago.

PS: Hacking has improved.... sorta.
PPS: Take my advice and do NOT buy this game.

EDIT: lmao.. that's what you get with being on 2 forums at once. Well, feck it I'm gonna leave it here too for the guys who're thinking of buying the game. If you've played Bioshock 1, don't get this one. Waste o' cash.

...Tali 4 Life!

So tell us, how do you really feel about "Bioshock 2"?

Not really.  In a game all about personal choice and individual consequences I reckon it's impossible to have a 'proper' Shepard as he's basically supposed to be a reflection of yourself in one way or another.

But you're spot on about Tali.  She's the only person he's supposed to end up with in ME2.  I've lost count of how many times I've said this the past few days but it's the perfect romance!  young, precocious, adventurous girl falls in love with dashing captain, who after going through hell and back, is reunited with older, prouder more mature girl.  But girl finds her feelings have gone away and captain realises that his true love has been there all along!!!

I better put that speech somewhere where I can copy and paste it in the future...

Here's an interesting question. Simillar circumstance. Genie offers you Tali as a faithful, lifelong lover. In exchange, though, he's going to take your arm off at the shoulder, and make you infertile, so you can never have a family with her. Any takers?

So what's the catch?

Not enough, huh? lol okay, try this on for size
Same thing, genie, companion for life. BUT, Earth-bound bacteria is instantly fatal, so she's in her suit for life, and there's a Midas Touch sort of claus: If you ever make any kind of physical contact with her, poof, she's gone forever, and the heartbreak is terminal, lasts the rest of your life, never even lessens. Everyday for the rest of your life is just as crushing as the day that you lost her.  How bout now?

Oh, you are so evil. Image IPB

*Can see it all now*

Liara barges into Sheppard's room in the middle of Tali Cuddles, "SHEPPARD! After all i've done for you, all we've been through, You betray me with this... Worm!" She literally burns with biotic powers, but i am reassuring in knowing the Carafix under my pillow is loaded, and my skills will far match hers. "Liara. I, Died. Have you ever plummeted into a planet, your air supply gone, burning up in re entry? It, Really, Changes you. More so, You knew i was alive! For quite some time, I couldnt get an email? So much as a hand written letter? Hell, An Assassin would've been a pleasant hello. You've changed Liara, you are, so much like, Your Mother." Pushes up from the bed and stares off with her. "You dont even see me that way anymore, I heard what you said on Illium, you didnt want to lose, a friend. You would've said more the just a friend, you already knew our relationship was over!" "I-uhh" "No! You dont get to talk, I've had Two Years to think about this! I was in the military since i was 18 Liara, I never even knew my parents they're dead for all i know! My Entire squad on Acuze, was almost entirely wiped out by Thresher Maws, they killed Everyone, I Lost Everyone. Only Me and Corporal Thoombs lived, and you know why, Because Cerberus stole him, preformed horrible experiments on him!"

"After saren, after the attack. Pressily... Twenty one crewmen, good crewmen died on board that ship, I died too. But you know what, I'm back. And i've had a lot of time to think, reflect, and act. And you know what Liara? I Love Tali'Zorah Vas Normandy Nar Rayya, so you can go and **** a Vorcha for all i care!" Biotic Throws her out of the room into Thanes waiting arms, placing a rag over her mouth quickly stopping her trashing. "Thank you Thane, you're timing is perfect, as always. Tell joker to bring the Normandy To Ilos, we'll leave her there. Sh-she'd like that."

Well for me honestly:
I liked Bioshock one but in all honesty Bioshock 2 is pretty much the same as Bioshock one except you get the drill and more powers...

kinda like MW1 and MW2 pretty much the same except MW2 has more weapons...

IMO its kinda pointless. Bioshock didn't need a sequel it was a perfectly perfect game by itself, really nice story and graphics. So i actually think they're ruining it with a sequel.

ME on the other hand actually expanded their universe and added a lot of new stuff at the same time... The Perfect example of a perfect sequel IMHO.

Ah yes, and a good gift for Tali, The sounds of the Quarian Fleet, the humming of the engines, the sounds of the crowds.

Maybe take her aboard the Japenese railways for the feeling of home. I'd also carry a taser incase of wandering hands >> Go on try me homes!

Opposite, I have to keep my brother in line, make sure he doesn't make the wrong choices. But he does play with subtitles, and will skip an interrupt option such as smackin around that C-sec guy and the Volus heckling the Quarian in Crime in Progress on the Citadel, so I give him **** about it all the time, then in the other room, I can hear Tali saying "Oh, of course, why would you be interested". My ears could not take it I'm like "wtf man Jack over Tali?".

Keep in mind my brother is 26 so I kinda look up to him lol

by the way right now I am DESTROYING stuff with Tali and my Vanguard (doesn't matter who's the 3rd squaddie. Barrier as 7th skill and Biotic Charge. Every class changes the battlefield so much, I love this replay value. Does anyone have any ideas for if I should choose the AR, 2nd tier Shotgun, or Sniper rifle for my Vanguard? How about my 7th skill, is Barrier the best for the close-range?

Thanks

maybe in your case, i can't drink yet so for me it's fine like Dr Pepper.

Speaking of DR Pepper its really BS that the code thing for DP was US only... the game is made in Canada for go sakes at least make it Canada as well! Not to mention i drink Dr Pepper every single day and my reward is having to do all the random stuff just to get those damn masks.... pisses me off.

You really are a sad, laughable figure, Lord_Moose.  If you think all Tali is worth is a forty quid subscription to a glorified day care centre for delinquent idiots then you don't deserve her love!

J/k of course, you're ok! :P
