I don't know, I don't think its going to happen. I don't think they're going to repeat ME2 over again, and what I mean by that is I am certain ME3 will pick up where ME2 left off. ME3 will start where ME2 ends, with the ship and squad intact

I concur. I suspect the passage of time between ME2 and ME3 will be slight, if not minimal. I could be mistaken but I get the feeling it won't take the Reaper fleet two years to reach the galaxy proper.

Yeah, this pretty much echoes how I feel. I doubt there will be much passage of time between the two, if there even is any at all.

You never know...They might pull something...At the least they might be like "Shepard and his crew patrolled the galaxy for (insert number of years here) UNTIL TEH REAPERS ATTACKED"
