Could be. Check out the first five head drawings in the top line. There are some lines or wires at the back of the neck and base of the skull. While it's just a rumor in the ME universe, there is speculation that the Quarians may have used cybernetic parts on themselves given their penchant for engineering. This is purely speculation however, and not gospel.

And a lot of the women I've tried to date are older than me. Not by a whole lot older, but that's where things seem to go.

Yep. Medical advanced increased the lifespan, this is a pretty common thing throughout our history and continues to happen. Once our lifespan averaged out to 40 years. As we advance it continues to get longer and longer, and we continue to be in better and better shape, look better, etc as we get older due to our advances. Thats why they can average 125 years without genetic modification

Of course with genetic modification you could live a lot longer.
