Just call me an old-fashioned romantic but I think in this world that is obsessed with looks and boob sizes, it's nice to have someone to admire that goes against the now well-established 'beauty' doctrines.  Tali has the voice and personality that transcends such things, and can be ocnsidered more akin to 'love' than, say the more primal attraction to Miranda.

Plus, you know...dem hips :wub:


I heartily concur....Although I'm not one to complain against a good handful or two. Tali is delectable, and as you say: "Dem hips". ^_^

16,500 posts...now, I like Tali, and I like the Quarians and the trip to the Migrant fleet...but I admit to being a little mystified by her crushing popularity on the forum; she has more posts then everyone else put together. Now, thread size is only one way (and probably not entirely accurate) for gauging a character's popularity...but still. What is it about her that causes such an enormous amount fan outpouring?

(To clarify: I like Tali, and I'm glad she's popular and will be back in ME3. I'm just wondering why she seems ten times more popular then everyone else.)

Its been explained in here before so eloquently by many users before. We camefor the mystery, we stayed for the personality. Tali is beauiful in so many ways and we love every last second of her :)

She's nice, cute, has an amazing waist to hips ratio, is mysterious due to her mask, and above all, she needs Shepard; thus, she needs you.

This she-needs-Shepard makes the most sense to me (and she's pretty open about it, not in a I-need-you-to-fix-me-up Jack kind of way). And I suppose I shouldn't underrate the mask; looking at some fanart posted here and elsewhere, it's clear people have their own ideal Tali.

(And antilles333--great job with the front page. Keeping up with this thread can't be easy. Kudos to you!)
