I do need tali as a party member in ME3, since the very first one, its always been her frightening skill with her shotgun, my dead on aim with a pistol, followed by a powerful warrior like Grunt, Wrex, and Zaeed.

Never went anywhere without Wrex and Tali
and now i never go anywhere without Zaeed and Tali.

I've had Garrus and Tali with me throughout the first two games.  As long as that continues through ME3, I'm fine.

Too easy compared to what? She's known Shepard for two years, and that relationship has been building. If any of the LI's are too easy, it's every new LI aside from Garrus. You barely met these people a few weeks ago, and now you're in love? We obviously can't all agree, but Tali and Garrus are the only ones (aside from Liara and Ashley, but if they are your LI, you still hooked up with them in a matter of weeks) that feel like they really know you, and have taken time to grow attracted to you on a serious level, and not just a high-school crush.

QFT. So damn true. Haven't romanced Garrus on my femshep (have yet to really play her) but I completely agree. Tali & Shepard clearly enter a serious relationship and are in love.

Me too, well spoken. I´m playing ME1 right to make sure my Shepard only has eyes for Tali. There will be no romance with Liara or Ash. And than I´ll finally have reached lvl. 60 too.

you get her near the last half of the game.Even if i didnt talk to her at all the entire ME 1 playthrough.I still have her jumping on my lap faster then any other LI.

The point is, she's loved you since the first game, before you died. She's been through hell with you. These other people just met you. Now I'm not saying they are less important as LI's, just that you can't try and say Tali is "too easy" when compared to every other LI.
She's shy, and obviously wasn't going to just come out with her love, look at how nervous she is in the romance. It took Kelly saying something to get the relationship to actually start, because Tali is timid. But those hints were always there. And for players like me, I always loved Tali, and just never had the chance to tell her.

Again, no matter what you did or didn't do in ME1, the canon of the story is that she was with you. Even if you never noticed her, or cared.. She cared about you. She's had two years of working with those feelings, trying to figure them out. I'm sure your death didn't help her with that. But now you're back, and you're showing interest in her.. her. The one thing she thought you'd never see.

As for the 'cheating' aspect. Well i'll deal with that road when i reach it, which will probably involve some thrown warps, a handful of asari commandos, and showdown with liara with a gun to Tali's head "You Choose Now Sheppard, Me or This ****!"

Another reason why i think tali should be an npc and help with the quarians for the story sake.
BW can boast all they want they probably arent gonna deliever on great imports.
Thus tali having a lesser role in the story if she is a squadmate.
They arent gonna do some huge universe with many different choices and hand us 8 discs
Besides sounds like she likes you because you the commander saving the universe...doesnt sound very long lasting to me.

Due to almost all gamers now being online game companys will put a special program on their game discs that will send back to them useful data.  i.e. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2's team will get sent a digital bird's eyeview of a map after every multiplayer game of where people were killed and by what weapon.  So it looks like Bioware has done the same thing, only they are monitoring who do we keep in our team the most throughout our playthrough.  My recommendation?  Through your next playthrough get Tali on your team as soon as possible!  Then, go on a mission, leave your console on for 24 hours, and then complete the mission to send Bioware back the data
