I've just been reading but I just have to respond to this. They've known each other for years and were friends from the start (he saved her) . I knew my wife for 8 years before we started dating. We were married after 6 months of dating. Everyone kept saying how fast it was and it wouldn't last, but they don't think about the 8 years of griendship before. We've been married now for 11 years and my wife's personality is very close to Tali's and yes I know I just showed my age.

That reminds me of that one mission in ME1 where Biotic Extremists take over that one science outpost. I saved every single one of those jibbering fools and the news said they all died.
In ME2 sometimes you'll hear about it too. A small annoyance but still an annoyance.
I think it may be talking about the Biotic Extremeist that captured the shuttle and the politian instead man, you kill all of them (or leave like 3 alive)

Well, actually, this is what you'd expect from people who go through extreme survival situations together. Sovereign, and even more so the Collector base, clearly are examples of this.

As a part of that, it wouldn't make sense not to include the romance options from ME2, at least in the same manner as Liara in ME2 ( possibly somewhat expanded upon? ). On a side note, the Tali romance was incredibly well done. What with how they keep meeting, Tali's logs constantly referencing Shepard, and so on. It seemed very believable, very natural.
They really did a great job with that. The player knows without question that Tali has fallen in love with you. It didn't just spring up. She wanted to be with you even when she thought you had passed on and at first it was a crush but then it got deeper as you spent more time with her and became her knight in shinning armor. They really did something with this one! They crossed a lot of boundaries that will have a gamer questioning what is real and what isn't.

Yes, thats what I've thought too. You just know the progress over the years and how she's never lost hope, and you can see how her feelings for you grow over time, from inklings of interest to full blown love where she is willing to give up anything to be in a relationship with you
They really did an amazing job.

I was so pissed when I found out that Tali isn´t romancable in ME1 in my first playthrough, so I didn´t romanced anyone in ME1 except for Liara in my only Paragon playthrough...
