Why? I've said this before, but I guess it needs repeating. ME3 will no doubt have LI squad mates. They aren't going to dump all 9 old ones and try to get you to hook up again with new ones. (I'm sure there will be a few new options) They also aren't just going to bring back some LI squad mates and not others simply because the **** storm they would have on their hands would be epic..

So this leaves only one option, bring back every single LI squad mate in some shape or form. Then focus on the fan favorites. Which Tali happens to be.

Well then they might as well be a squad mate then. You just need a few more dialogues and a move set. Its not like ME2, the squad mates aren't the major focal point.

They aren't going to require these extravagent missions designed around them.

But I dread that they will make in ME3 what they did in ME2, which was to make your previous romance NPCs completely unavailable to open way for new romance possibilities. Ok, fine, but they should leave the option of those who export their ME2 saves to continue on the same line they were and make the play-through of ME2 actually have some significant impact on each of our ME3 experiences.
A happy ending in ME3 with Tali on the Flotilla or the Quarian homeworld would indeed be my idea of of a happy ending.

Na remember at the start of ME 2 you died... Death  is the ultimate Relationship killer... No death at the end of me  2, just carries right in the ME 3...  So take a breath and STOP worrying she is going to playable, loveable and huggable for ME 3.

That's because Tali has hordes of fanboys (and some fangirls).

It's obvious Tali is extremely loyal to the fleet but people also seem to forget that she is taking a risk of dying to be with Shepard which doesn't make very much sense if we are to believe that she would instantly and definitely choose the fleet over Shepard. All we can do is to speculate until she is actually pitted to such a situation(I dearly hope not).



It's not all black and white as people seem to perceive it =)

They could seriously make ME3 so massive as to have complex story lines for each Squadmember/LI based on the running decisions made in the first two games. Maybe I'm too optimistic, but I would enjoy having my cake and eating it too... (replace the word "cake" with "Tali" as needed).



I could see playing through the game and having Tali as the centric character, then, on another playthrough, having to use a different disc, having someone else ( or Tali again, in my case) as the centric supporting cast.

I have a strong hunch that ME3 is going to be different in most ways. Example: Less recruiting, they've done that already. Keep love interests from 2nd game. Not sure about bringing love interests from first one, sounds like Ash moved on, but the choice between Ash and Tali is... unfortunatly for Ash, easy to make in favor for Tali.

I think that because they aren't spending time recruiting and kindling a romance... that there will be more time for lots lots more. And I think if they make it a two disc'r its going to be an epic that makes up for the shortcomings of both.

OR it could epically fail like Halo 3.

Tangent: Bioware isn't knwn for multiplayer, but two player co op, maybe fable style (as in henchman whom isn't important). Just an idea I doubt will happen.

Renegade huh? So for all the women out there that love Quarians, why not put Reeger in. Adam Baldwin did a great job voice acting. I don't like not having Tali as a squadmate, but the game hinted as her being Nominated for the Admiralty board at the end of her mission... 

why not make reegar the Female LI while your at it.

I am all for him being in the game as a squad mate but that doesnt mean Tali would have to leave.  They can both be there since they both have different skill sets.  Let the ladies have Reeger and let the gents keep their Tali.  Even if she does become an admiral she will not leave Shepard.  His ship will just become part of the Flotilla and they will lead together as a family.

You've installed the reaper IFF, meaning the only thing to do now wait until EDI's finished testing it.

So you go to the citadel for a party at the Dark Star!

You can take three party members with you, who do you bring? (so its really asking tali and who else?)



A: Tali, some dextro-dna drinks, like turian ale would be good for her, and im sure the dark tar should have some quarian liquor (May i could try some!)

B: Zaeed, he's always a man that'll throw down for you in a fight, and a hell of a wingman, He take distract all the women who throw themselves at Sheppard with his accent.

And C: Thane? (Too mopey) Garius would be the same. Samara? (Watered down whiskey!? My code says you must die!) that's a... no. Me and Jack aren't on speaking terms it seems, and Miranda is a cold ****. Mordin, maybe, but he might just want to do some last minute prep so i'll leave him to it. egion cant drink, but Shuttles are automatic so i dont need a designated driver. Grunt... Nah. Jacob is lame. Joker! We're going drinking! (I'll have to keep him from dancing though or CRACK! very dramatic)

HIlarious when its an organic the drone is fighting.

Too easy compared to what? She's known Shepard for two years, and that relationship has been building. If any of the LI's are too easy, it's every new LI aside from Garrus. You barely met these people a few weeks ago, and now you're in love? We obviously can't all agree, but Tali and Garrus are the only ones (aside from Liara and Ashley, but if they are your LI, you still hooked up with them in a matter of weeks) that feel like they really know you, and have taken time to grow attracted to you on a serious level, and not just a high-school crush.

umm 2 years passed...you were dead.Not that much build up.Considering you dont even get Tali at the start.

We have to take into account that a lot of time passed during the first game and the second.  You were not just jumping across the galaxy one day after the other.  They never tell you how long each game actually took but I will say it may very well have been a years time with them in each others face.  The two years you were dead didnt stop Tali from thinking of you and she never connected with anyone else.  It is safe to say your passing may have had a lot to do with that.  I do know for a fact that it had been weeks since she joined your crew again before she was placed on trial. 

And the other LI were there way before she was in ME2
And ash was there before she was.
telling you if you mean in me1 the game wouldnt make new options for you.

Miranda and Jack didnt start taking an interest in you right away either.  Their time with you still doesnt add up to the time you spent with Tali when you add both games together.  You also see Tali on your first mission in ME2.  Seeing you alive had effects on her for sure.
