I haven't seen this anywhere else so I will ask. Anyone have any idea why Tali has what looks like a ridge under her head scarf? All the other fem quarian head scarfs are smoth, and Tali's was in me1. It almost looks like a neck pillow under the scarf.

Well if you think about it, if you are playing as FemShep, then Shepard IS one strong mother. Assuming she has a male LI.

The design for Tali in ME 2 was to be more mature and less like a teen.  To me the ridge makes her look older like she grew her 'hair' out.   Also it helps distinguisher from other quarians, as a character design.

My only guess it that it was put there to help her stand out.  She doesnt dress like any other Quarian in the game so you know who she is right away.

That' what I though, it looks like hair in a net or something, but none of the other fem quarians have it, even the admirals that I noticed

Long hair most likely. Or maybe personal preference making hallucinate.

I think she mentioned she can opt for that, but she prefers feeling your skin on hers.
