Alright gentlemen! Since I just woke up a short while ago, and because I think this thread's very own Sergio did a bang up job of it, here's a link to a fan made ME2 video with what could easily have been (and still can be) Shepard's theme song. Man up! Tali needs tender, soft, caring men, this is true, yet she also needs men with passion, conviction and the strength to stand up for themselves and the people and things they value in life! Infiltrator, just as stong as soldier I think, plus the steath aspect is great to bash enemies. You still get the sniper rifle from the start & can pick up the assault rifle traing on the collector ship. My 2 cents anyway

Same here (infiltrator), but I chose the Widow sniper rifle over the AR on the collector ship.

Wait, so, even if you cant use AR's, if you get the AR, you can use it?

when you go to the collector ship, and get the pile of weapons, depending on your class, you can pickup a really good weapon, or choose to train in a weapon skill that you can't use

so for infiltrator, you could get the big widow, or train Assualt Rifle or Shotgun

can you get more weapons by reusing the same character in multiple playthroughs? I got sniper for my sentinel and am jealous of Tali's new dlc shotgun... or does the weapon training skip/replace on subsequent playthroughs?

That question was raised before and the consensus seems to be that you can't pick up more than one special weapon at a time. Either it locks the special weapon you already have in place on the next playthrough, or it removes it. I've started a second playthrough and my Revenant AR is missing. I was/am quite dismayed by this as I had been looking forward to demolishing the pesky mechs and Collectors early on with a fully leveled up incendiary skill coupled with the Revenant.

well, I kept my previous weapons, but I couldn't get them until i got back to the normandy. on freedom's progress you get the beginning set, but you should have all your old weapons in the armory. though I chose sniper, so the one I had was the Viper model. Not sure if it's considered "special" or if only the high-end weapons get that treatment. I'd enjoy being able to run multiple times and have a sentinel that would use all the weapons:lol:

Yep nothing like breaking a few rules to show you care   Our girl is worth every bit of trouble that comes unless it causes you not to be able to buy ME3 when it comes out.  Then breaking the rules is bad

Haha, you'll be filled with joy, until you realize how foolish you were not to think of it. Same thing happened to me.

Hehe! I had considered the possibility that I wouldn't get the weapons until after I got off the opening Cerberus space station, yet when I still hadn't received my old load out once I landed on "Freedom's Progress" I became concerned. Should have been a bit more patient and waited for the reveal of the Normandy in retrospect.

A bit off-topic, but since people are posting links to pictures and videos left, right and center does anyone have a step-by-step guide as to how one would go about placing home-made music mixes on the net that would be accessible in this thread? I was playing around with Music Maker late last year and one night came up with a composition I would like to share.
