Come now. Ease up. I have no reason to think that Marine is anything other than what he claims to be: A young Marine - literally. I've seen far more moronic, immature and downright disturbing behaviour from some of our fellow Talimancers in the old thread. I didn't call them on it then just as I'm disinclined to call them on it now if it repeats as long as it doesn't destabilize the thread.

like i said call me an ass... i've been called far worse thing sbefore for speaking my mind... its just for me, people on the internet always judge me and say i'm immature solely because of the fact that i'm 15. because of this i act much more mature than everyone else i know and then when i see people who are actuaally adults and they act like they're 10 it just makes me angry... i have to fight to be respected and they just throw it away like it's nothing...

lol like i said this is a good place to let off steam if u saw me in person i can assure you i would not be crying over tali and acting goofey, (which is why i am here)

well in that case i think it's cool your here!

There now, doesn't everyone feel better now?  Group hug :kissing:

That's my point though, the Krogan don't know that difference and they always fight which is why they had the genophage inflicted upon them...

Some do. Wrex for one. Experience and the time to digest its lessons can change a person. In ME1 Wrex sums it up quite nicely when he states that in his youth he was eager to chase after every fight, now that he is older he is content to sit back and wait because the best fights will find him.

When you're older, I think you'll have a better concept of what maturity really is. I'll tell you what it isn't about: appearing mature.

For example, MarineBorn basically shrugged off and laughed about your comments toward him. That's maturity.

Concur. Now back on topic? Appreciated.

I've certainly felt a lot better sharing the love on here and with a friend who beat the game. He preferred Miranda, but, hey, to each his own. Better than keeping it bottled. ME2 stays with you!

Well, you have to look at where the krogan come from. The krogan homeworld is a tough enviornment compared to other planets, it's no wonder they can be aggressive to say the least.

Also, Mordin mentions that the krogan were introduced to space travel and advanced technology before they were actually ready. "Like giving a nuke to a caveman" Mordin said. If the salarians had left the krogan alone, and let them advance on their own, they might not have been as barbaric, maybe more diplomatic, once they discovered space travel.

Wrex was an exception to the rule and his role in ME2 shows this.  Grunt, while proficient in a fight, is nothing but a roided up Krogan adolescent born in a jar.  Wrex is ruling Tuchanka with a wit and guile unheard of within his species, but when he goes then it'll all go to the dogs again.

Am on Tali's loyalty mission. Just did paragon hug. Emotional moment, as always.

My favourite moment in the entire game; shares first place with Tali/Shepard romance scene.

That hug is indeed one of the highlights of the game. No doubt.

Agreed. Very heartwarming.

Question, though. What happens if you don't opt for the Paragon action? I'm too inclined to immediately give her a hug to ever just leave her there.

Gives you dialogue options that are not as emotional as hug. Accidently missed hug one time, so reloaded and started all over.

Much appreciated. I was curious too, but discinclined to take the plunge. :)

Best to forget it. Actions of disturbed individual not to be dwelt upon.

Mordin really is one of the "THE MAN"s in ME2.

agreed. didn't really warm up to Mordin until he gave info about comfortable human/quarian positions, erogenous zones, etc.... Then it was all You da man Mordin.

Personally I find that Mordin's loyalty mission is the most excruciating one from an ethical perspective. BioWare did a tremendous piece of work there.

They like Tali too, or they wouldn't have given her references to Minsc and Aerie from Baldur's Gate.

I agree! Mordin's loyalty mission far more emotional than I thought it would be, considering what you know of him before doing this mission. It's nice how they really make you think, was the genophage a huge mistake? Or was it something that was needed for the greater good?
