Looked for Liara.  Disappointed.  No interest whatsoever in anyone else and because I took Veetor I thought I'd pretty much ruined my chances with Tali (god I felt awful when i bumped into him during her loyalty mission).

Still, she came back and Kelly said "I think there's chemistry there".  I was immediately like..............................................................................................

like i said call me an ass... i've been called far worse thing sbefore for speaking my mind... its just for me, people on the internet always judge me and say i'm immature solely because of the fact that i'm 15. because of this i act much more mature than everyone else i know and then when i see people who are actuaally adults and they act like they're 10 it just makes me angry... i have to fight to be respected and they just throw it away like it's nothing...

I've certainly felt a lot better sharing the love on here and with a friend who beat the game. He preferred Miranda, but, hey, to each his own. Better than keeping it bottled. ME2 stays with you!

If it were a real life situation then Miranda would be the girl you have hot, sweaty monkey sex with for a while before you realise that some of that "true love" spark seems to be missing (at least based upon what I have observed of her character so far; she is likable but I am not smitten with her). This is not to say that Miranda can't be loved nor love someone in return - she clearly loves her sister and this reflects favourably upon her.

Tali'Zorah on the other hand is akin to being "the girl next door" that has a devious side once the doors close. Someone you have come to care for and admire over the course of time, perhaps even had the occassional romantic thought for and then dismissed because there appeared little outward interest and/or perhaps you were afraid of what it might lead to (or what kind of ruin it might end in). Only to one day find that she has harboured similar feelings for you all along that time has not dimmed but only stirred. That's romantic passion.

Actually, yes it was. Grew to love Tali in ME1. Heard she was a romance in ME2. Made new game, and romanced nobody. Waited for Tali. Paid off in the end. Now do not have to worry about consequences of cheating.

I agree! Mordin's loyalty mission far more emotional than I thought it would be, considering what you know of him before doing this mission. It's nice how they really make you think, was the genophage a huge mistake? Or was it something that was needed for the greater good?

I settled for my own conscience on the explanation that Mordin gave: the genophage just compensates for the reduced environmental pressure. In other words, the genophage just reduces the growth of the species to the same level as before they were "uplifted" by the salarians (by giving them technology and taking them to other worlds, worlds less dangerous than their home planet).

Granted, you might say this is just self-justification... But the way Mordin explains it, it makes sense. He specifically says that the genophage was hard to make because it's not intended to completely kill the Krogans - just reduce their fertility levels to a very precise level.

PS: Tali rocks!

Well, i didnt really have a plan. I just thought i will see how it goes. So i started off with Miranda.
But then i got Jack. And i really liked her and her backstory was interesting so i blew Miranda off and 
romanced Jack, paragon style. 
I am on my second playthrough now, and i a doing my best to stay faithful. 
And hopefully i will get my ME1 back on Saturday so that i can do a new char there and not to romance 
anyone and then import it to ME2 and be with Tali. On all the playthroughs i am going to do after that.

Would be great if we actually can help Quarians retake their homeland from Geth and help build them first city with house for Tali or something, maybe that still could be even in ME2 as DLC. Who knows.



Anyway Quarians said that it would took very long to adapt planet back for them and also to adapt themself so they can pt masks away. I wonder if theres some connection with that Weather changing gizmo you can found on planet taken by Geth (it have dark fog all around with very low visibility)

Well, you have to look at where the krogan come from. The krogan homeworld is a tough enviornment compared to other planets, it's no wonder they can be aggressive to say the least.

Also, Mordin mentions that the krogan were introduced to space travel and advanced technology before they were actually ready. "Like giving a nuke to a caveman" Mordin said. If the salarians had left the krogan alone, and let them advance on their own, they might not have been as barbaric, maybe more diplomatic, once they discovered space travel.

Aye, and I think Mordin was used very effectively as a means to open up and explore both his own character and the history/cultural character of the Krogans.
