Mine wasn't, but that was because I didn't even know she was a romance option. I completely avoided all ME2 media, so nearly everything in ME2 was brand new for me.

I was really glad to see the "romance" dialog start with Tali, since I didn't even know she was an option. She was my fave character in ME1, and I remember when I played it for the first time I kept talking to her hoping she was a LI, before I learned she wasn't.

 


@Himmelstor At first  I did not know who i wanted to  started, First i was faithful, Second time I somehow end up Miranda(can't that was not enjoyable)  but Tali something changed,  everything else felt forced,  Tali felt a natural like she was there the whole... Tali felt peaceful.

I wanted to romance Tali in ME1 but couldn't. Didn't expect BioWare to change that approach for ME2 so I went after Miranda. When Kelly informed me otherwise Tali became my main focus though Miranda's curves do make me lust. Samara's too for that matter (and she's a pretty cool character as well). If I get the chance in ME3 I will romance Samara and/or Miranda at some point just to experience it, but not after having thoroughly basked in the glory of a continued romance with Tali.

Now if I could only choose one of them and then be locked in with that decision ever more....Tali'Zorah vas Normandy, I do believe we have a date with destiny.

Actually, yes it was. Grew to love Tali in ME1. Heard she was a romance in ME2. Made new game, and romanced nobody. Waited for Tali. Paid off in the end. Now do not have to worry about consequences of cheating.

Personally I do not consider it cheating, though there is likely going to be some hurt feelings and emotional drama in ME3 which I both look forward to and rue simultaneously.

I went with Ashley in ME, although I thought Tali would've been interesting. I found out Tali was a LI in ME2 just before I got it, so yeah, I went straight for that. The [two] rescue[s], the loyalty mission, and the paragon interrupt there pretty reinforced that. I also think she has the best personality out of all the squad members.
