that is another strong possibility. Either the Dark energy thing is being caused by the reapers or is a way to stop them.
or perhpas it's just something random that the devs put in for no reason...

I don't have a link but it's heart wrenching. She says in her sweet Tali voice with disappointment: "Can't blame a girl for trying".
Awwww!
Why would you willingly want to hear that?! Whoever refuses her at that points needs their heads checked
Oh my god that would be horrible, why would somebody CHOOSE to hear that? Don't treat Tali that way

well there's been speculation that the Geth have destoryed the homeworld since they don't need that stuff... maybe they turned it into a giant factory planet...
Legion tells you that they're cleaing up the homeworld of debris and toxic gasses from the "Morning War". They use space stations and asteroids instead.
I always wanted to talk to Legion WITH Tali. Make her change her mind. I sure hope that difference of opinion about the geth won't be in the way for a great romance O.o
Ah i see, thanks for clearing that up... i can totally see the Geth-Quarian conflict being a major theme in ME3.
I also having a feeling ME3 will be you going around trying to unit the Galaxy against the Reapers (kinda like what you did in DA)
I have an inkling that the Dark Energy phenomenon in the sun that Haestrom orbits holds the key to defeating the Reapers.![]()
or is being caused by the Reapers
at first i thought it might be the Reapers but i can;t see why they;d want to do that... but maybe KFD is right maybe we have to sacrifice Shepard to blow up the sun and kill the Reapers...

The Reapers have destored countless civilations over and over again... but yet none of the plants or star systems are destroyed on the life dies... The one why do that is messing with stars so there Raditions kills the organic life but leaves the tech and structures behind.

back on topic: Lets just hope it ends romantic with Tali on their homeworld.
That I can certainly live with. Speaking of homeworlds, I would be thrilled if Earth can be visited on foot in the final Shepard game. Alternatively maybe Mars. Tali can come and see some good ol' Earth cutlure and how even in the year 2185 or so, there still exists nation states that are highly advanced and states that are stuck at early 21st Century levels, violent storms from pollution (although the global warming of Earth stabilized and life was still sustainable). Hmm. Guess it's better than having your homeworld taken from you by revolting robots. Besides, it's home!

so who here thinks that stanley woe told the devs about the tali indoctrine ppl, and if they even looked at r suggestions??
We can only pray. I mean, i haven't posted on any forums regularly for years so I don't really know what constitutes a big acheivement. All i know is Tali love drew myself and a lotta people here and the numbers can only grow.
380 pages in one thread is considered all but unheard of on BioWare forums. I recall BioWare staff members exclaiming that they had never seen anything like it when a **** storm erupted over the controversial DRM for the PC version of ME1 back in 2008. There was what? 120 pages at the time and grew to ca. 170+ before being shut down in a matter of days. The thread theme continued in many smaller threads as each one would be shut down after 10 pages and that was over several weeks/months.
Phew. i bet whoever thought of Tali is pretty smug.

My pet theory is that the Dark Energy allows the manipulation of time (the star in question is aging much faster than it is supposed to after all), and that perhaps the Dark Energy can be used to travel back in time and discover the origins of the Reapers (and perhaps a weakness in them), or used to banish the Reapers to a different dimension or pocket of time where they can no longer threaten the galaxy. Let's face it: Even with all the fleets of the sentient galactic species, they are going to have a rough time going toe-to-toe with the Reapers. Each of the Reapers is a 2 km long dreadnaught class ship. The Council races, including the Alliance, have maybe 56 dreadnaughts between them. Sure, support ships, frigates and cruisers can pack a punch in packs but I wouldn't want to take bets on the galaxy forces coming out ahead in such a slug fest.

Pffft! Tali is partly attracted to my Shepard because he is confident enough to be relaxed with himself and not beat off every other male like some club wielding caveman of old. Besides, one blast at the Geth Colossus with the M-920 Cain obliterates it (on "Normal" difficulty at least - one of the shortest fights of my gaming career).
