Nope, loved talking to her, learning about her people, listening to the giddy happy voice of the pleasent little girl ^^
And she grew into a woman, still shy when it comes to herself, but always ready to speak out in defence of her friends, family, and fleet.

I just found out that i dont want to set the world on fire syncs perfectly with telling Tali that Sheppard cares for her. I dont want anyone else, i want you

Oh yeah!  She was putting in work from a distance with that thing.  Now if only I could get her to be able to soak up some more damage.  I really do wonder why they made her an up close fighter in this game since she is such a gentel flower.  I would have liked for her to use the AR instead.

It makes her one of those characters, she is so precious, then combat starts. Shotgun rush!!! so unexpected. Makes her seem like one tough badass.

I adored Tali in the first game. In fact, I wanted to have her as my Shepard's love interest; there were times I'd steer the good Shepard down there just to talk to her and see if maybe, just maybe, a new dialogue option would pop up that I might have missed. *sigh* Such a sweetheart.

I always liked Tali in the first game.  She was a nice & innocent kid and carried that though a little better than the other nice & innocent kid [Liara] in the game.  Obviously after a bunch of playthroughs she'd be just "one more chat stop" on my circuit around the ship so got neglected there but I was never indifferent to her.

I had to say the voice acting / scripting in both the recruitment and the loyalty quests were awesome and really drew me in.  A little throw away line like "I wish Shepard was here" is solid RP gold.

Yeah my first play through was on the 50" plasma.  It was so worth it.  Tali all larger then life and twice as cute.

She was by far my favourite character in ME1.
That distance has only increased with ME2.

Knowing Bioware the only time they'll let us see Tali's face is if she dies in ME3. That'll be a TRUE tough decision. Does Tali live, and I never know what she looks like... Or do I gaze upon the face of Shep's one true love, only to have her die in his arms?

not a tough decision for me. Keeping her alive was my number 1 priority in ME2.  Besides if they do show it in 3 and she dies then ill just look it up on youtube.

Interesting how Tali ended up affecting a wide variety of people all in different ways...

Tali can hack the Prime Geths. I'd imagine she can hack the giant mech as well?

What made it catch me completely by surprise is that during ME1 I DID spend time with Tali, every time I was on the normandy I'd go to see what she had to say. But my party was always Garrus and Wrex. When ME2 came along and Kelly told me Tali was wanting to be more than friends I was completely blind-sided because it hit me all at once that I'd spent so much time just listening to her talk about herself in ME1. Made me realise that my Shep had ALWAYS loved her, even when Liara was dangling her ass in front of him.

If only he'd know she cared way back when, he'd have left Liara in that prothean prison.

Haha thanks^^ Just a ****ty little poem I had to do for my english class when I graduated 4 years ago for some extra points... Got a 1 for it though lol(would be an A in america?don´t know).
I just changed that line into Tali´s the remedy (yeah low standards when it comes to english in germany )

BTW: How many people totally abandoned their "plans" about who they were going to romance & how as the game developed.



I had every intention of having a stick up my @ss and stay loyal to the ME1 LI. Heh now I've gone back, looked through my save games, and finally found one where I killed my potential LI at Vermire to see "what would happen" ... now I've got to see how both the "jilted lover" scenario and the "it's always been you" scenario work out.
