Similar situation. 300 years insufficient timespan to spur evolutionary change. In addition. Tooth loss caused by bacteria. Quarians exsist in bacteria free environment. No bacteria. No tooth loss.

I did... try to enlighten you..I posted the like to the Mass Effect Wiki which rather nicely breaks down Quarian Culture, and  physiology.  To show that you trolling statement is  very wrong..

The fact that the quarians have teeth, but they eat "paste" so therefore they shouldn't have any teeth is a moot point.



They were only in "exile" of their homeworld for only 300 years, much too less of a time period to witness a dramatic change in their physiology.



Because they have teeth, it's safe to assume that the quarians, on their native homeworld, were a carnivorous species that ate meat.

Slight correction Kami102. Quarians omnivores. Carnivores unable to eat plants. Foodpaste consist of mostly plant matter. Quarians said to enjoy meat. However. Meat is height of luxury. Hard to raise livestock in fleet. High room and resource requirement.
