Since i received a few question suggestions, posted the very last batch of them today:The Tali-fan survey part 15: Paragon or Renegade
The Tali-fan survey part 16: Tali romance in ME1?
The Tali-fan survey part 17: The end
Also please note that the first 3 polls have been closed because their five days are over. You are all welcome to visit the link in my sig and tell your opinion about the questions, or anything.
I must say that i feel utterly destroyed by XX55XX's [url=http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/105/index/1140426]Mass Effect Character Survey Version 2.0.:mellow:It looks so much better and it's a more professional solution. Very nice. I still think we had some better questions, though.
This the comment about Tali's score in his V1.0
Although the polls and fan response on the BioWare forums suggest that Tali is the most popular squadmate in all of Mass Effect, the numbers hint at a different story: Yes, she is popular, but not as popular as we have once
thought. For example, her mean score of 8.05, while high, is still somewhat lower than the mean scores of several other characters.
Also, her coefficient of variation of 26.9% connotes a degree of variability (albeit not terribly great) in people’s reactions towards Tali. Perhaps all the hype is causing a mild backlash in some quarters?
Well, lots of haters around, we know that. It's sad tho that they hate the character because someone else loves it.

I just know BioWare will make an in-game joke about this thread
Newsfeed in ME3: "After his success against Saren and the Collectors, Shepard and his crew have become icons to many people. His Quarian crewmember, Tali'Zorah vas Normandy, is especially popular on extranet message boards"
Shepard: "What's wrong?"
Tali: "My inbox is overflowing! I had set a VI to sort out the important messages, but it is being overloaded."

I want to see her face. And I'm pretty sure they'll reveal it. I mean, Bioware can't dodge the question of what a Quarian looks like forever, and they may as well answer it with everyone's favorite Quarian.
I doubt I'll be disappointed, as long as it looks humanoid anyway, which is pretty much a fact that it will.
Hmmm...will need to improve extranet filter...grayfox4000 wrote...

Would love her even if she looked like the ravenous Bug-Blatter Beast of Traal, but come on Shep didn't even even raise an eyebrow when he saw her so she can't be too bad.

real reason for 'lower' than expected = tali haters vote to give inaccurate results. They don't hate tali, they just don't like us, so they intentionally try to sabotage surveys and statistics. As for variabilty of peoples reaction... non issue really.Elastica wrote...

Yeah, the look in his eyes, and his subtle smile with a bit of smirk was very telling. Basically, it tells me his thoughts were "Oh hell yeah"

Like so many others I am astounded at how fast this thread is moving. But I also wonder how much is the same people reposting.
Is there any way to see how many unique people have posted in this thread and the last one?

Exactly. Surveys don't tend be be even remotely valid unless taken by a control group, a random group, etc. Having only people from these forums take the survey severely skews the results, based on how forums are filled with trolls who will do anything to peeve off others.
That said, I know Tali wouldn't get a 9.5-10 in a completely random survey. But I know she'd score high, if not *the* highest of all characters.
For clarification: Random = random population chosen out of people who have beaten Mass Effect 2, as well as 1 preferably.
