I think it had more benefits to save that marine:

1. I think he was so bad-ass that I just couldn't let that man die.
2. It's nice to help Tali, whatever her requests are.
3. Kal'Reegar is a 100% military-minded soldier who lives for his job. He doesn't have time for women (and the fact that he can die in service any day could eat up the relationship a little) so he's not a threat (oh I'm going to regret those words SO much in ME3 xD)
4. Shepard happens to be pretty damn charismatic. Kal'Reegar is good, but Shepard is better.

Well damn, you make a good point that is a jab at us and a funny one too but that Turian needs to be shot... he annoys this one.

In a way we're all just here to support Bioware and the amazing job they've done pulling us into this story. it's a testament to their design team that they can make us care this much about a single character.

Yeah, but I think the OP meant BioWare referring to the 10K post thread phenomenon, not the fans themselves. Something along the lines "high traffic on the exanet brought down the messaging systems.... blah blah lockdown"

Tali is bound to be in the next one, I think people need to stop worrying about it so much.



I mean, just think, there is a 427 page FOLLOW UP thread devoted to her. Thats a pretty big sign that shes a popular character, and BioWare will recognize that.

haha yeah the stimulator part was good.  i laughed my ass off when she said she was gonna take a break from dating and the turian desperately tells her she shouldnt lol.  it reminded me so much of a past relationship, i had to laugh at that.
