Polls are polls and can lie like a dog, spammers take advantage and will randomly select choices, it is by far very off balance at all times. Threads like these are what keeps Bioware attentiveness to Tali at a high level.

My Tali shall go untouched, I refer to the trading and REVOKING of said "Personal Tali's" to be the trading of damaged goods, used, the Black Market if you will. How dare thy suggest such horrific lies!

I don't think anyone's trying to 'slam' you, good sir. Many of us just feel inclined to point out that there's a large chance of a bias having taken place in the poll, so it is not entirely representative of the truth. I'd imagine it's not too terribly far off, though.

Yes, there's the poll, but there are spammers and haters always ruining polls (works for all things Mass Effect). I think forums are a much better example what people really what in ME3. There's this Tali thread, there's the Joker thread, and many other threads too that are popular and with good reason.

Like the character is fine but the fact is the information isn't worth a whole lot, it taking info from a fraction not a whole, supposedly finding every poll and assuming they never been tampered with.



There to many "if" for it to be reliably real number would come from bioware hell tali could mark lower and id be fine as long as the number were backed by game play choices that were recorded.

They did! That's one of the hardest things to do when creating a character in a game: make them personal.

Bioware's team has done an outstanding job. No doubt about that.

This. While I'm not oblivious to the very real possibility that the massive showing of support for Tali'Zorah on BioWare's website may not be indicative of the overall lay of the ME gamer land since many undoubtedly do not take the time to visit this website, that does not automatically mean that our efforts on this website might not be indicative of the lay of the ME gamer land either.

Vetto has it right: The only way to form a completely accurate analysis as to which characters were used the most by the players would be for BioWare to have access to ALL players' game data. This raises at least two issues: 1) It is uncertain that all gamers are going to opt to share their game data with BioWare and thus BioWare may never have the full picture (though perhaps they can get close, who knows). 2) Though one would surmise that players will pick party members they like over others and thus usage of said party members would denote popularity, this needn't be the case. Some characters are better suited for various missions and thus a more strategically inclined player may put aside his or her personal favourites in favoure of getting the mission done.
