Tali seems too childish to me, it seems like she needs to learn to grow up. After this maybe she will.

I saw this earlier, and I'll say now (approximately) what I said then: I like this interpretation, and would be thoroughly satisfied if BW were to have their own close variant. One of the better Tali-face pics I've seen.

Well yes, but Tali is not a Turian, she is a Quarian, who I find to be very attractive in my own mental picture. In fact, I'd rather Tali's face not be shown, her personality revolves around her mystery.

I think that's a bit unfair to our beloved to say her personality "revolves" around her mystery. The mystery is an element, certainly, but it is not her biggest merit. I personally am of the opinion that her face should eventually be shown.

I tend to disagree. I find that a primary reason some are attracted to Tali is due to the inability to focus on her face, as it is not shown. Think of it like blindness, if blind, other senses are enhanced. Translating to fan's attraction to Tali, more focus is on her personality than her body and face, they are concealed. This makes for mystery, "what does Tali look like?", which draws a picture in our head based on her personality as to what she looks like.

This point has been brought up numerous times, I for one did not become interested in her due to her face being a mystery, in fact I don't even realize that you can't see her face when I'm playing the game. But after building up our relationship with her for the past two games it wouldn't seem to make sense to keep her face hidden. I don't even have a mental image of what she looks like, besides what you can already see through the mask, Bioware has not dissapointed with any of the other Li's features and I highly doubt that they will ruin a characters face that they have had so much time to work on. Sure there will always be  those who will complain that she doesn't look right etc, but I will be happy with whatever bioware decides to make her look like, because no matter how our minds imagine her face to be, bioware I'm sure always has known what quarians look like, so the what we think they look like isn't correct anyway.

I'm not convinced. There should be little doubt where my feelings and loyalties lie regarding Tali, yet it is hard not to acknowledge truthfully that a majority of posts in our two epically sized pro-Tali threads are made by many of the same people - myself included. Devout fans or believers of any cause - whether it be political or as is the case here, in favour of Tali returning in ME3 as a recruitable love interest (who needs to have a face reveal!) - tend to be some of the most vocal and because of this are able to create the impression that they represent the majority. This need not be the case; it is not uncommon for a vocal minority to be just that: A minority. Still, the possibility does exist that a vocal group manage to tap in to a much deeper ground reservoir of public sentiment.

As always, well put.

The major reason, besides the obvious Tali reason, for this thread to have such a large post-count is the community and friendship it bears. Tali as a character has awakened things inside of us; opened our eyes for some, and merely brightened our surroundings for others. Borrowing from KFD's own words, Tali represents what a lot of us wish to find for ourselves outside of the game.
This thread lets us, and others like us, see that we're not alone in this state of mind. And, naturally, comraderie takes shape from our similar trains of thought.

Still a gaze to me but as I said difference of opinion. Like looking at something you really want with a small smile coming to ones lips, I could bet tali had this expression many a time looking at shepard threw her mask.

I dont have the time to defeat a few reapers, a few thousand geth and krogan, and then rebuild myself after plumeting from a spaceship surrering reentry and then spending 4 billion credits!

So i'll try to Krogan poet approach, it worked before. *takes out a violin and places a heartening quarian opera song*
