My guess is they decided that it's better to let us have one thread, then to keep making a new one every 4 or 5 days haha.

I think you're partially incorrect in your first major point. I believe that the the inability to focus on Tali's face is one of the biggest reasons many started to become attracted to her... but over the course of two games and numerous conversations with the lovely lady it is most certainly her charming personality that is the primary reason for attraction now. I find this is true of both myself and many people in this thread, who have previously relayed similar opinions. Sure, it can be fun to draw a mental image of her, but I feel there comes a time that this mysterious element of her must be cleared away. It is not essential that we see her face, but it seems like it would be a sad thing to be denied the pleasure. We've gone so long getting to know and love her, and to never be able to fully know her would just be tragic.RaoulG4668 wrote...

I think that's a bit unfair to our beloved to say her personality "revolves" around her mystery. The mystery is an element, certainly, but it is not her biggest merit. I personally am of the opinion that her face should eventually be shown.RaoulG4668 wrote...

Found this on Deviantart. I would be very happy if this is the face Bioware used on tali, I only think the eyes should be a bit less bright.

A bit scary though, I might add.
How.. is it scary? Have you looked at a Tuirian? next to a Tuirian that nothing.
Well yes, but Tali is not a Turian, she is a Quarian, who I find to be very attractive in my own mental picture. In fact, I'd rather Tali's face not be shown, her personality revolves around her mystery.
I tend to disagree. I find that a primary reason some are attracted to Tali is due to the inability to focus on her face, as it is not shown. Think of it like blindness, if blind, other senses are enhanced. Translating to fan's attraction to Tali, more focus is on her personality than her body and face, they are concealed. This makes for mystery, "what does Tali look like?", which draws a picture in our head based on her personality as to what she looks like.

Reegar is awsome, he's the quarian Shepard. Only two people in the galaxy can take on a platoon of geth and a colossus with just a rocket launcher, Reegar and Shepard.KujaTheDarkOne2 wrote...

Hm. You may have a point. May I suggest the tried and tested methods of our ancestors the cavemen? One club swing and a female being dragged by the hair later and all is well.

Hi KFD, i started a holy war over reclaiming Tali from someone who claimed her. Because i traded a bridge for her. He's lucky I didnt have any beads.
Hi Moose. Sounds like a party. But really gentlemen, you are all trying too hard. Let her come to you. It worked for Cmdr. Shepard.
I dont have the time to defeat a few reapers, a few thousand geth and krogan, and then rebuild myself after plumeting from a spaceship surrering reentry and then spending 4 billion credits!
So i'll try to Krogan poet approach, it worked before. *takes out a violin and places a heartening quarian opera song*

Still a gaze to me but as I said difference of opinion. Like looking at something you really want with a small smile coming to ones lips, I could bet tali had this expression many a time looking at shepard threw her mask.
I see both. A marvel of gaming cinematics conveying some of the most potent emotions without a single word being spoken.
