An admirable movement. It's nice to see so many Tali fans. I like her character, too.

However, it's also important to remember that she is a potential casualty in the Suicide Mission. If anyone truly wants to keep her alive, make sure she survives to meet you again in ME3. :)

As for future narratives, it seems quite inevitable that Tali will have a minor role in ME3, even if she lives through the Suicide Mission in ME2. Much in the way that Liara and Ashley/Kaidan were casually set aside (for now), Tali must move on, leave Shepard, and bring her valuable knowledge of the Geth (and some of Normandy's technology) to her people. I for one, would be sad to see her go, but her destiny lies elsewhere.

I think they'll all be in ME3. After all, why did we spend so much time recruiting all these people and gain their trust just to see them leave?

Agree, especially if they are going all out ( I'm hoping for Fallout 3 longevity 60+hrs a playthrough)

not really sure what to say to that.

I think the word you are searching for is: "Unstoppable". :D

Untouchable.

I hope not! Don't know about you but I'd love to touch Tali...and be touched by her in turn! *que epic troll tease by BioWare where Tali's face turns out to be spider-like* :crying:

Unless me3 is right after (less than 6 months) after me2 I don't think Mordin will be in it, he is 50. I'm not sure about Thane either, but maybe his son?? I just hope it's not another find, recruit, gain loyalty rehash.

i never understood how people could hate any of the squadmates in ME2... Even Zaeed has his moments :)

Agreed! They're all good characters, and all get their moments to shine. Some just shine brighter than others, is all. Like Tali and Mordin. ;)

Was just fighting the Thorian in ME1, and in between rounds of combat, all of a sudden Tali just disappeared and her name at the bottom left showed her as dead. Worst of all, it wouldn't let me revive her! thankfully she came back once the Thorian was defeated, but it was a pain in the ass fighting those creepers with just one other squadmate!

Some people have suggested a Dragon Age-style game, what with uniting the myriaid races of the galaxy against the Reapers.

I rather prefer Biowares 30 hours of great dialogue and storytelling, to Bethesdas 60 hours of wandering in an open world. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy playing both thoroughly; but I dunno what I'd do if ME3 had even less dialogue than ME 2 has. :(

So I guess I'm the only person to not do the Paragon interrupt for Tali, and to give the evidence to the Admiralty?

Tali said she didn't want them to see the evidence, how could I deny her her wishes?! :o

Coulldn't either. And paragon hug interrupt perfect.

Paragon hug interrupt was one of the best parts of the game, hands down.

I was wishing that Shepard would have more emotional moments with the characters besides the romance plots, and What does bioware do? They make one of the most emotional and sad moments in video game history. Miranda crying, Samara having to kill her own daughter, these were also tear jerkers, but Tali's was the best.

Yes, there were some truly emotional moments all throughout ME2. Let's not forget Mordin's dilemma over the ethics of the genophage, in addition to your Miranda and Samara mentionings. Even Jack has a very emotional love scene, as YouTube has shown me (never actually gotten it myself). It's just a friggin' amazing game.

How could I forget jack's paragon romance scene? That made me feel so bad for hating her at first. =(

I've never understood why some still do. I mean she's really rough around the edges, sure... but she's got a heart. She's a good character.

Agreed. One of the major likeable points about paragon Shepard is that he is able to bring out the best in the people around him. Jack's uncouth, coarse and psychotic exterior gives way to a scared, hurt girl that simply wants to be able to trust someone not to screw her over. She wants what we all want: Love. Miranda and Tali'Zorah are no different - their individual story paths may differ yet they desire to reach the same destination.

Concur. But doubt Bioware would do that again. But have to wait for ME3 to find out.

There was this one bit of renegade dialog during Tali's loyalty mission which I kinda wish was a Paragon line. After her comment about her dad promising to build her a house on the homeworld, the renegade option has Shepard say something along the lines of "If he won't, then I will"

Ooh, yes, I remember that. Felt really good saying it with my Renegade Shep. XD

Renegade during the trial is great bec shep withholds all the evidence & shouts at the admirals. It's better when Tali say she likes to hear you shout. It just all fits together better

Paragon Shepard yells at the admirals too. As with any Paragon or Renegade option you need to have enough points in it to trigger certain dialogue options.

Tali: "We're losing ground, stay strong men! Oh Keelah, I wish Shepard were here..."

*Dynamic Entry!*

You called?

"Sh-Shepard?! Wha- Why are you here?!"

I could never just let you run off and let you take back your home yourself. Grunt, Zaeed, covering fire, ready disruptor rounds and concussive shots! Legion, do you want to tell me why the hell the geth are firing on us, didnt you say you were saving it for the creators?!

'Problem, Shepard Commander, heretic cells that survived purge infiltrated geth fleet above homeworld, attacked for maximum damage and landed on group, took up defensive positions. Orbital Shelling was dismissed as damage could be detrimental. Wished to coordinate counterattack with creator fleet, but they attacked before could message. Was forced to retreat...'

Hell.

"Eitherway, its good that you're hear Shepard, and I... I-" *hushes her*

I know.
