An admirable movement. It's nice to see so many Tali fans. I like her character, too.

However, it's also important to remember that she is a potential casualty in the Suicide Mission. If anyone truly wants to keep her alive, make sure she survives to meet you again in ME3. :)

As for future narratives, it seems quite inevitable that Tali will have a minor role in ME3, even if she lives through the Suicide Mission in ME2. Much in the way that Liara and Ashley/Kaidan were casually set aside (for now), Tali must move on, leave Shepard, and bring her valuable knowledge of the Geth (and some of Normandy's technology) to her people. I for one, would be sad to see her go, but her destiny lies elsewhere.

Oh come on now that doesn't make sense at all!

As long as her name is Vas Normandy and i am her captain then she will stay on my ship.

Yeah, her storyline as an LI and a member of Shepard's ship had far too much emphasis on it for Tali to just "move on".

Also, I will post this....AGAIN.

http://ve3tro.com/72...dson-interview/

"Mass Effect 3 has been reported to already be in the planning stages. What things would you like to see improved from the end of the development cycle of Mass Effect 2 to Mass Effect 3?

* I think the biggest thing is first of all the resolution of all the plots, all the decisions players have made throughout. Being able to play and experience all the surviving cast members, all the characters people liked. That’s one big part of it.

The other part though is really down to the feedback we’ll get from fans having played Mass Effect 2. That’s going to be our biggest focus is understanding the way people play our games and trying to make them better based on what they say about them. "

Enough with the negativity.

Keelah, thank you. Srsly, why are people so worried about returning squad members?

Because we want a happy ending for Tali and Shep damnit

Well so do I, of course! But I don't think we have much to worry about. Bioware will deliver. 'Tis what they do.

This is going to sound weird, but does anyone else have Tali as the voice of their conscience, or at least a part of it? There are 3 characters (not necessarily from Mass Effect)and myself that run through my head and help me think. It's... interesting but it is fun sometimes.

My conscience is myself trying to talk in a british accent, makes it rather hard to take him seriously at times.

Can't say that I do... but there have been times where I'll be talking to some people and I'll imagine the ME convo wheel pop up :D.

Why did everyone talk him out of killing his nemesis? Even on my "Paragon" character I couldn't really justify it. Taking out the Blue Suns head merc is going to save a lot more lives than one bumbling idiot who could have just jumped down off of whatever he was talking to you from. Maybe he didn't clearly communicate what the dilemma was...

I would've been all for killing his nemesis... but I didn't want to let those workers burn. It was more than just the one guy, afterall.

More than one. Some trapped in room.

But did kill Vido. More expediant.

i never understood how people could hate any of the squadmates in ME2... Even Zaeed has his moments :)

Agreed. Zaeed is actually pretty damn cool once you get him talked out of his single-minded vendetta (for the time being) as Paragon Shepard. Certainly a good man to have on your side in a fight given his encyclopedic volumes of hands-on combat and psychological warfare.

I wish you could actually talk to him on the Normandy, though. That's always made me sad... :(

Aye, I think that's where it shows he was a DLC character. Still, he does have some stories to share that help enrich the ME universe.

And on top of all that awesomeness. his mission got me the flamethrower... which was amazing

Strangely, I found I never used the flamethrower.

I had him kill his nemesis. It's what I would do in real life. I am trying to earn Zaeed's commitment to the mission, as per agreement. I don't put the slaves there. Vito, as a slaver, deserves to die anyways. Glad he burned to death.

strange question - what's up with the trash compactor in his room?

I'm not sure. It seems like it's just there for show, as in "Look. We really went in to detail". It's a nice little touch but doesn't seem to really affect the actual game. I liken it to that "push-the-red-button-endlessly" phenomenon that hit the interwebs some years back. The mindless monotony of pressing the buttons somehow producing a pleasant experience.

Quick, you are sitting wherever you may be, and this very moment an escape pod SMASHES into your room, causeing a lot of damage, but it remains in your room, not going through any more floors. The pod opens, and a very disoriented Tali'Zorah Vas Normandy exits the pod.

What happens?!

(Where you are presently, with everyone in the room there there, nothing changed. but a wall is mostly smashed because of said pod :P)

Anyone also notice the security camera on his desk that is wired up to every room on the Normandy. I thought he was just the hired gun? Shouldn't Miranda have that feed?

Yes, that's where it shows it indeed... and it rather hurts. But, I mean, we got Shale in DA:O, and "he" was fully fleshed out and integrated into the game. I can't really imagine the end of the Deep Roads section without "him".

I'm willing to listen to any of my party members and will usually give their point of view due consideration (and no, that's not to be interpreted as glib and quickly dismissed). However, I am my own moral compass and paragon Shepard does not disappoint.
