I'm going to get her one that says "I'm dating a Spectre", I'm sure they sell them in Hot Topics on the citadel.

Re: Ashley, Kaidan - They were set aside on purpose. I never implied, in any manner, that just because either of them could have died in ME1, they were bound to have minor roles in ME2. The fact that we can't get the remainder of the two (whoever you chose to spare) to join the squad, let alone killed in the Suicide Mission, means that he/she must stay alive for whatever comes is in ME3.
The latter also applies to Liara , but we can talk about her role in some other thread.
Tali's situation is unique. It's not that I don't want her to appear in ME3 at all. I just mean that her participation in the squad is bound to be minimal (unless done very early in the game). The knowledge that she carries is way too important for her to be galavanting across the galaxy blowing up Reapers. It's not something she can just download from her Omni Tool to someone else's database. I can think of no other character to continue (or trust with) her research. She has to be there if and when her people decide to take back their homeworld from the Geth.
And if something like the latter does take place, I don't want BioWare to simply condense it into a few lines of bland text, or worse yet - distract the player from all the important plot elements that have suddenly disappeared with a "grocery list" of loyalty missions that, albeit well designed, are utterly insignificant narrative garbage. [deletes rest of rant about the bad, lazy writing in ME2]
I suppose it could go in different directions, depending on whether the Quarians go to war with the Geth or not, whether or not the player chose exile for Tali, and not to mention the consequences of re-programming the Geth in that one station (via Legion's mission) should the player choose to do so. But anyways...
At any rate, as Mordin says, "Too much data. Too many variables," or something to that effect.
This just doesn't make sense to me at all.. you seem to think she could never be anything more than a "minimal" character which is weird. Doesn't make sense at all your idea that she "must" leave.

I guess now the only thing that'll still give me that drive is the reaper fleet scene at the very end... Man, this sucks, but I can't believe ME2 is beginning to wear out.
I can't imagine myself playing another game actively that's not ME2. I've spent so many hours on this thing. I feel happy that I'm still having fun but at the same time sad that I'm not feeling half of those emotions anymore. Oh well... carry on guys. I'm off to sleep. Hard day tomorrow.
PS: Also tomorrow I'll make my Tali video that I've been promising to do for about a week.

Why did everyone talk him out of killing his nemesis? Even on my "Paragon" character I couldn't really justify it. Taking out the Blue Suns head merc is going to save a lot more lives than one bumbling idiot who could have just jumped down off of whatever he was talking to you from. Maybe he didn't clearly communicate what the dilemma was...
Logical, true, but try telling that to yourself in person over the screams of the men and women you can save right then and there if you choose to act.
It's a similar story with the hijacked military base that unleashes two Javelin Mk. II nuclear missiles. Save the strategic spaceport (which will allow rebuilding in the long term) or save hundreds of thousands of colonists (resulting in the destruction of the spaceport and the eventual evacuation of the colonists)? That one tore at me because I tend to take the long-term view and strategize but for me it came down to this: Government/military exists to protect it's citizens. While it is possible that saving the colonists might lead to more deaths in the future, there did not appear to be any continuous threat in that area beyond the immediate missile crisis. It would likely be of little comfort to the colonists to hear that they were sacrificed when they could have been saved by the press of a button simply to keep a strategic space port (which I might add, could also be rebuilt if the political will is present to do so). It's all to easy to have lose sight of the people you are supposed to be serving, whether it's in business or in government. They become numbers. When you have the opportunity to make a positive change for a person, it's something of a gift. Shepard echoes the same sentiment while speaking to an Asari on Illium. Not everyone gets the chance to make a difference.
Supposition. While past behaviour indicates a high likelihood of similar activities taking place in the future, the future is unknown empirically speaking and thus contains the possibility that past actions will not re-occur. It would be equally valid to suppose that the individual in question might be killed or stopped by other forces given his checkered past.
Again, supposition. No way to verify claims without further input. Argument at a draw as one could argue in favour of finishing him now at the cost of innocent lives, which runs contrary to core value of preserving life. The possibility of saving further innocent life exists in the future, yet the here and now is all we are really able to deal with while making plans we hope, but can not guarantee, will pan out once the future becomes the present. Some of the saved civilians might go on to do things in life that could save even more lives. Besides, the Blue Suns organization would likely continue to exist in one form or another with or without him. It already has a Batarian co-executive in place not known for his mercy, so Blue Suns brutal methods would likely continue irrespective of the survival or not of the human co-executive.

I shall name her "Athena" after the ancient Greek goddess of wisdom and war strategy.
Its a full-fledged machine gun, only way to upgrade would be a drum mag or even better... futuristic MINIGUN FTW
Ouh! I like how you think, sir!
Thank you, however, if the quarians built some type

(and solve the problem of them not haveing frontline shock troopers)

Quick, you are sitting wherever you may be, and this very moment an escape pod SMASHES into your room, causeing a lot of damage, but it remains in your room, not going through any more floors. The pod opens, and a very disoriented Tali'Zorah Vas Normandy exits the pod.
What happens?!
(Where you are presently, with everyone in the room there there, nothing changed. but a wall is mostly smashed because of said pod)
I would also try to hide the pod and once she is ok help her contact the fleet while trying not to get caught by the government because they would experiment on her.
Government would get her over my dead body
That can be arranged.
OH S**** a Fed, you'll never take me alive!
