can't believe I haven't posted here yet.......Tali is like the shy innocent girl that can be tomboyish at the drop of a hat and defensive of her beliefs/people, that's why I love her. Complexity, it what make someone great

i concure.  it was the tomboyish like part of her that drew me in.

Well i refuse to believe for a moment that Zaeed would turn on me, Hell, i've treated him better then his family.

:D

I could mayhaps be swayed that he wouldn't turn on you... or at least he'd be quite hesitant to. But I don't think he'd have too many qualms about the rest of your team. Could be wrong, but that's my impression.

Why did everyone talk him out of killing his nemesis? Even on my "Paragon" character I couldn't really justify it. Taking out the Blue Suns head merc is going to save a lot more lives than one bumbling idiot who could have just jumped down off of whatever he was talking to you from. Maybe he didn't clearly communicate what the dilemma was...

Logical, true, but try telling that to yourself in person over the screams of the men and women you can save right then and there if you choose to act.

It's a similar story with the hijacked military base that unleashes two Javelin Mk. II nuclear missiles. Save the strategic spaceport (which will allow rebuilding in the long term) or save hundreds of thousands of colonists (resulting in the destruction of the spaceport and the eventual evacuation of the colonists)? That one tore at me because I tend to take the long-term view and strategize but for me it came down to this: Government/military exists to protect it's citizens. While it is possible that saving the colonists might lead to more deaths in the future, there did not appear to be any continuous threat in that area beyond the immediate missile crisis. It would likely be of little comfort to the colonists to hear that they were sacrificed when they could have been saved by the press of a button simply to keep a strategic space port (which I might add, could also be rebuilt if the political will is present to do so). It's all to easy to have lose sight of the people you are supposed to be serving, whether it's in business or in government. They become numbers. When you have the opportunity to make a positive change for a person, it's something of a gift. Shepard echoes the same sentiment while speaking to an Asari on Illium. Not everyone gets the chance to make a difference.

Not that hard. If Vido escapes, may commit atrocity similar a dozen more times. Better to kill now. Be done with.

Supposition. While past behaviour indicates a high likelihood of similar activities taking place in the future, the future is unknown empirically speaking and thus contains the possibility that past actions will not re-occur. It would be equally valid to suppose that the individual in question might be killed or stopped by other forces given his checkered past.

Yet has survived twenty years on run. Must be good at evasion. Has large force. Could take years before next opportunity. More. Likely to be paranoid after close call.

Again, supposition. No way to verify claims without further input. Argument at a draw as one could argue in favour of finishing him now at the cost of innocent lives, which runs contrary to core value of preserving life. The possibility of saving further innocent life exists in the future, yet the here and now is all we are really able to deal with while making plans we hope, but can not guarantee, will pan out once the future becomes the present. Some of the saved civilians might go on to do things in life that could save even more lives. Besides, the Blue Suns organization would likely continue to exist in one form or another with or without him. It already has a Batarian co-executive in place not known for his mercy, so Blue Suns brutal methods would likely continue irrespective of the survival or not of the human co-executive.

Wow that is deep.  Did have him on my first play through as a paragon so I killed the chump on my second as a renegade.  Sorry the mission comes first for my very evil FemShep unless Tali is at stake.

Damn it! I started my 4th playthrough, but... g'aw, I don't get those awesome chills at the normandy reveal scene anymore. Not at all. Which really sucks. I've always loved that scene. It gave me chills and brought such a big smile to my face, always raised the mood.
I guess now the only thing that'll still give me that drive is the reaper fleet scene at the very end... Man, this sucks, but I can't believe ME2 is beginning to wear out.

I can't imagine myself playing another game actively that's not ME2. I've spent so many hours on this thing. I feel happy that I'm still having fun but at the same time sad that I'm not feeling half of those emotions anymore. Oh well... carry on guys. I'm off to sleep. Hard day tomorrow.

PS: Also tomorrow I'll make my Tali video that I've been promising to do for about a week.

That scene brought a big grin to my face yesterday morning when I started a new playthrough. Speaking of which, I'm off to play for a bit. Hold the fort down gentlemen (Who am I kidding? As if it's even necessary anymore) and enjoy yourselves!

I'm going to get her one that says "I'm dating a Spectre", I'm sure they sell them in Hot Topics on the citadel.

Some guy: "Hey baby, nice shirt. Who are you dating, Blasto? Mr. Quarian-Make-Believe? Hahah.."

Tali: "Actually, his name is Shepard. There he is, back from his talk with Counselor Anderson"

Shepard: "Oh there you are Tali. Let's go get those parts we need for the Normandy, Anderson needs us to go check something out on Ilos"

Some guy: *Jaw dropped*

Oh almost forgot.  I saw this in another thread...yeah I get out to other threads every now and then.
I am really feeling this persons idea for how Tali should look.  Only I would make her paler due to lack of direct contact with light on the skin.

Alright i found this pic on deviantart.  this makes me think of tween Tali rather than the Tali we all know.  She looks a little bit too human for what i think she looks like but i thought i should share the find Image IPB

I really like that. I think it'd be cool if Tali looked liked that. It...fits...At least it does when measured up against my inner feelings and perceptions of Tali. Thanks for sharing, Destructo.
