The scene itself is touching though.. I love Tali <3

Er....touching? it's a nice glimpse of Tali's body in a sexy pose but I'm pretty sure Zaeed is whining about Vido Santiago the entire time :P

I like it because amongst all the **** going on at the time she has a moment of peace amongst it all, just appreciating the natural beauty of the place around her, something that Quarians in general probably don't get to do.. and Shepard is right there nearby :)

While I'm for peace I don't see a lay down of arms, if anything the Quarians and Geth alliances can prove to be a very symbiotic relationship, the geth could easily defend the Quarians, and Quirians have ingenuity. Now I know what your thinking "but geth can think and work so much faster why would they need Quarians", BUT to really bring out the potential in something one must be able to see and think outside of the box of sort and while geth are getting there they still think to analogy. It's a "Circle goes in Circle hole" logic were as a more outside of the box look go "Just modify the square hole to fit the circle".

That's true what you're saying. And I think quarians could give something mechanical help to geths, like improving their shields, weapons and stuff.

The Geth's technology tree separated from the organics tech tree long ago. The Geth are likely literally centuries ahead in some areas. This is alluded to in the descriptions of the two shield upgrades you can buy for Legion. It mentions something about Geth tech being incompatible with galactic tech.

Geth tech was still made by Quarians and I can bet they can figure it out I mean for god sake they been keeping a fully working fleet together for 300 years.

You give Quarians way to little credit they could of easily surpassed Salarains in tech if they still had there home.

Not at all. At no point did I state that the Quarians (or other galactic races for that matter) couldn't figure Geth tech out if given sufficient time and resources. What I did state was that Geth tech is very different. 327 years of independent research and development by a sentient being that does not have the same requirements nor limitations as an organic sentient being is bound to produce some markedly different results. Besides, as I stated previously, it is specifically mentioned in ME2 that Geth tech is no longer compatible with galactic tech. If you'd like to read it yourself, it can be found in the description of Legion's two part shield upgrade entry.

Yeah KFD. Although incompatible modified versions could be useful, or even just design concepts or ideas could be made from studying the geth tech. Its interesting how Legion talks about their design, and when you go onto the station. No windows, network hubs everywhere. Interesting.

Ah, I see your point. I guess when you think about how Quarians are limited to life on the Flotilla (besides their pilgrimage), they appreciate natural beauty far more...and Tali is some niiice natural beauty...uh, uh, I mean, that waterfall is just gorgeous...

I cannot sleep and I am on my iPhone. The dream I had was similar to that's of the question that has been asked here, countlessly.

My dream consisted of eating a marshmallow I love or lose chocolate forever. I awoke, horrified at this thought but I realized it has some meaning behind it.

My Shepard has had a pretty ****ty life. His family and friends were murdered on Mindoir, and while on Elysium he had to watch his entire team die. Then he held off an entire fleet alone 'til the Alliance showed up.

Then he worked for the Council who didn't believe Jack **** he said and grounded him because they thought they were doing the right thing.

Then he defeats a ****ing reaper.

Now no one but some **** named The Illusive Man believes him while no one else does.

He finds his love in Tali'Zorah vas Neema (also has had a pretty ****ty life and stuck by Shepard against Sovereign) who is in turn seen as a traitor to her people and named Tali'Zorah vas Normandy. He falls in love with her then what?

If the situation were to arise in which I had to pick between saving the Citadel and saving Tali, hands down o pick Tali. My Shepard has had a ****ing horrible life and I think he deserves something that will make him happy. He isn't ****ing Spiderman so he won't watch the love of his life die possibly by his own hands.

Btw I'd totally take chocolate over the marshmallow.

There are a list of things that Shepard tells Tali that I could say 10x better, not to brag, but Shepard lacks that ability.

They just want the opportunity to choose Tali over the galaxy... Which would be romantic if she was real :?

See Ant, and you thought you had it tough with a lack of Stan Woo showing up yesterday while you were dying in front of your lap top from hunger. :P

On a more serious note, it's a tall order to ask of Shepard or any person for that matter to be sure. It's tough all over and there are times when someone, or a collection of someones, have to rise to the occasion whether they wished for it or not. It's not necessarily fair nor is it guaranteed to end in success and glorious heroics, yet that's how it goes. Both in ME and in our own reality. Sometimes it's referred to as "Welcome to the suck".

Every character looks good by the waterfall, lol. It's like the go-to pic for "I need good-looking picture of character X."

I had Mordin as my 'third man' on that mission, and even he looked good. (No Tali, though.)

I would also argue that it would be the utmost selfish decision to choose one's personal love over the lives of billions, if not trillions, of other sentient beings (nevermind the less intelligent forms of life). Imagining myself in such a situation, every part of me would want to save my loved one(s) but how could I ever justify it? Nevermind the pragmatic reality that if I saved them and allowed the galaxy to be destroyed it wouldn't matter that I saved my loved ones as we would likely all perish shortly afterwards. I don't support egalitarianism in all its forms automatically, yet that would be one of those occasions where I firmly believe that "the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few".

It just doesn't make sense to me how Shep & Tali's relationship could ever be the deciding factor in whether the galaxy survives or not.. Just doesn't seem something that could make sense plot-wise..

That would be an incredibly ridiculous plot line for Bioware to even explore with ME.  Romances are simply fun fodder, nothing more, nothing less.  Highly unlikely that Bioware would pull a Lionhead.
