I´m currently playing ME1 (again) And I was trying to keep my Shep single but Ash wouldn´t get a "No" for an answer , so I had to let her die on Virmire.

Even if he still does not know, my Shep is faithfull to Tali

i'm doing the same thing but I'm not quite letting her die.  Rather i had to choose the mission over her and thereby paving the way for some Tali-flavoured sexual healing in ME2

you didnt need to virmire her you can push her away by just picking bottom right when she comes to see you after the normandy is grounded and you're waiting for the message from anderson. when joker 'interrupted' we were both just standing there arms crossed looking angry.

To be honest, looking ME2 with high-level point of view, this game is a bit odd for the following reason:

8 missions to recruit people
you meet the bad people on the colony
8 missions to get the loyalty of your teammates
1 mission on the bad people ship
1 mission on the ship that will crush in the planet
Final mission. And that's it!

I would like to remember that the main scope of an RPG game is to recreate reality in fiction. It's not just about driving a car, shooting at people or killing them with a sword. One thing that makes an RPG so great is the interaction with the NPC and their story. Who doesn't remember the death of Iris in Final Fantasy VII????? Why was that game so great?? Not because of graphics, it outstanded all it's predecessors and the later ones. It's because it created an awesome story with people with their own personality!

So here is my point. Why is this game finally good? It becomes a great game once you enter Omega 4, once you the last mission. Until you come to the final mission it's boring and linear like hell. But the last mission is just joyful. If all the game was bringing as much adrenaline as the final mission, it would become a legend!!! After half of your team dies (at least mine) and you kill the final boss, you see Tali falling from the plateform and your heart starts to beat "OMG she is going to to fall and die!!!!!!!! But no!!! You save at the last moment". And this pushed adrenaline up. THIS IS THE KIND OF SCENARIO THAT SHOULD BE PRESENT ALL ALONG AN RPG. The ***ing interaction with NPC and the attachement you get with them!

In the end, it's actually Tali that made this game great!!!! Tali will make me remember my experience with ME2. If she wasn't there, I would just have said, "ME2 is a nice game, but not too much".

I am posting this message to BIOWARE and EA. You HAVE to keep Tali in Mass Effect 3 because she is the only data in this game that made ME2 outstand the other actual RPG!!

BIOWARE MUST MAKE TALI AN OUTSTADING CHARACTER IN MASS EFFECT 3!!!

And the last thing I will say is that if ME3 will be like ME2 but without Tali, it's simple, I will NOT buy it because SHE made that the game different to any other!

I have to disagree with you.  An RPG is in the end a sum of its parts.  All RPGs have a main linear story that you must follow and many side quest that you can do or leave behind.  Along the way you get to know the characters and become deeply involved with the world.  This game does the same thing.  The character depth is well above most RPGs that I have played and there are a lot of side missions that you can do if the length of the game is a problem for you.  The fact that most RPGs wouldnt even attempt to add character life spans in the game shows you just how great this game really is.  There are so many ways things can turn out and it is all based on how you play the game.  ME2 is a great action RPG in my book and I will keep playing it not just out of love for Tali but because I really enjoyed the ride and want to see how things turn out when I change the way I handle business in the game.

Glad to see i was not the only one who "redid" Me1 just to end up as a singel shepard.
And since Tali basicly throws herself at you at Me2 ...

Concur. Also have Dmitri (Renegade lean) Shepard playthrough without ME1 romance.

Oh, I want both Tali and Miranda in ME3. Tali's my favorite but I don't go for hating. I want the option for most of the ME2 gang to be in ME3. Thane and Mordin (Sadly) might die for story reasons and to make room, though.
