You guys should really stop the huge quotes.
Tali would be ashamed with all the hate from her fans.
Have some respect for the dead.
Also do you think tali's corpse made it out of the explosion?

IF you want to get us off-topic you'll have to talk about something else, also if you chose to blow up the station and Tali died then obviously it would've been vapourized, if you used the neutron blast or whatever then her body would still be there. But for me shes still alive...

You know, I do think that Tali is well liked internally by BioWare. It really does seem to me like she got a bit more "spotlight" than any of other character, especially in regards to Shepard.
Her race was the only one who got an opposite gender in ME2, she was the first old squad member you run in to, little bits like her "I wish Shepard were here", the Paradigm hug, Kelly specifically bringing up Tali's interest in you, etc.
Hell, even in the launch trailer, she was featured sliding down the platform after the Reaper fight, which was arguably the most intense scene in the entire game; and her named was yelled out too.

I'm sure her popularity with the fans has something to do with it, but I really don't think she would've had all those extra touches everywhere if she weren't also well liked internally.

Some people here speak of the parallels between Tali and some female character in Baldur's Gate II. I have never played Baldur's Gate, but people do hint that BioWare loves Tali-like characters.

I think she is based off of a BG character since Tali's crone is named after a character or something from BG as well...

Will hold service for dignity. What is preference? Cremation? Burial? Sea burial? Space burial? A mixture of the previous?

So I was thinking back earlier today about how some on here had been discussing jokes they'd like to see in ME3 about this thread. I think it'd be funny to see a codex entry something like this:

"The Quarian race originally developed from a type of predatory omnivorous primate. Over time, their ancestors developed extremely powerful musculature in their lower legs. This gave Quarians a significant advantage over their prey, providing them with a long, powerful, and often unexpected pounce."

On the subject of seeing Tali's face I'm all for it. Even you people who are hesitant about it because you like your own interpretation of how Tali looks like would probably be ok with what Bioware comes up with.

I mean, I just really can't see how they can make her unappealing at this point. I'd only be a bit disappointed if she did look like a space elf like some people seem to fear. Glowing eyes/highly reflective eyes would be welcome, though. Those are cool.

I agree that you are giving your opinion, but they're always quite negative, thats why people "disrespect" you.

And I also think they've already made her face in some way. You can reeeeally see the difference between both "behind the mask" faces. (smaller nose, prettier eyes)

It would be interesting if she was rather plain looking, in quarian terms. Not unattractive, but not super hot.

I guess I'm asking for "modestly hot".
