I don't hope for Tali to be too much of a focus in ME 3, i don't want her overshadowing other squadmates and LIs.

However, it would be nice if Tali did get some more focus in ME 3, she does know alot about Geth, and she is an Engineer so she could be really helpful in understanding the reapers.

I agree. Some of the characters, mainly from ME1, seem to be set up to be very important in the third game. I do think that Tali will play a pretty important role in ME3. It's obvious that many fans and Bioware like her a good amount. :)

I agree with your observations about Liara's changes, however she did not work for the Shadow Broker. Liara was/is actively trying to find the Shadow Broker and shut him/her/it down permanently. Furthermore, Shepard owes Liara a huge debt of gratitude. It was Liara, not Tali, nor Ashley/Kaiden, nor any of the other former party members who tracked down Shepard's dead body and then contacted Cerberus to have them bring him back to life. Love her or hate her, Liara is the individual with the single most responsibility for seeing Shepard back alive and in the process she has lost something of herself that she may perhaps never truly reclaim. That she has also possibly lost Shepard as her love (if the player opted to romance her in ME1) is about as tragic as it comes.

Yeah. I think it would be nice if she, as Shepard's girlfriend, and Garrus, as Shepard's best friend, would take a larger role in ME3. They would be like Shepard's advisors, you know. Or something like that. Their opinion would always matter more than some other squadmate's opinion. That kind of thing.

I really liked Liara as a character in ME 1, more than i liked Tali. But in ME 2 she had simply changed too much. She turned into her mother, even though she said she wouldn't in ME 1, i'm nto much happy for hypcrites.

And she had become almost ruthless, her personality was totally changes, she simply wasn't the same person my paragon Shepard fell for. The fact that she worked for the Shadow Broker and used any means neccesary to reach her revenge is proof that she have falled, not much like my Shepard, who even though working with cerberus still had his own way of doing things and didn't bend down as a **** of cerberus.

Hey KFD, I've seen that info somewhere else. Does it explain this in game? or is it part of me canon? I don't remember seeing it in game, but I did rush through Liara's part a little.

nevermind, just saw it up a few. I have got to learn to type faster!Image IPB

Yes, everyone would love to see this. I think it would be such a great event that I would probably remember for a very, very long time to come if it is done right. Also, welcome back Admiral! :D

I think it would be great if Shepard and Tali led the attack and the Quarians would fight to get their homeworld back. Would be epic.

Funny how Liara, an Asari would help a pro-human "screw every other race in the galaxy" orginization.

Then again, just judging from how cold and narrow-minded her attitude towards... everything... has gotten in ME2, it's understandable.

Tali is my favourite character second only to legion, but he seems under-used. i wish there will be some big quarian revalation in me3 or i can somehow show tali and legions "Friendship" to help the quarians make peace.

Yeah. Would be pretty ******* epic if the "good geth", led by Legion, helped the Quarians to fight the heretic geth!!! :)

Speaking of the Geth and Tali, I was never clear on how Tali really felt about going to war with them or finding somewhere else to live. Every time the subject came up I got mixed responses from her.

Could anyone who paid more attention clear this up?

Liara speaks of her crusade against the Shadow Broker when you first meet her on Illium. As for finding his body that's in the first Mass Effect comic book which ships with the Collector's Edition. I'm not sure if anyone has scanned it and placed it online, so sadly no directly linkable source at present (I bought the CE and read the comic that came with it - it's pretty short but looks nice). I don't recall whether Liara mentions any of this during your meeting with her?
