I agree with your observations about Liara's changes, however she did not work for the Shadow Broker. Liara was/is actively trying to find the Shadow Broker and shut him/her/it down permanently. Furthermore, Shepard owes Liara a huge debt of gratitude. It was Liara, not Tali, nor Ashley/Kaiden, nor any of the other former party members who tracked down Shepard's dead body and then contacted Cerberus to have them bring him back to life. Love her or hate her, Liara is the individual with the single most responsibility for seeing Shepard back alive and in the process she has lost something of herself that she may perhaps never truly reclaim. That she has also possibly lost Shepard as her love (if the player opted to romance her in ME1) is about as tragic as it comes.
Liara speaks of her crusade against the Shadow Broker when you first meet her on Illium. As for finding his body that's in the first Mass Effect comic book which ships with the Collector's Edition. I'm not sure if anyone has scanned it and placed it online, so sadly no directly linkable source at present (I bought the CE and read the comic that came with it - it's pretty short but looks nice). I don't recall whether Liara mentions any of this during your meeting with her?

Yeah. Would be pretty ******* epic if the "good geth", led by Legion, helped the Quarians to fight the heretic geth!!!
Yeah, i had a theory before that ME3 would be kinda like DA:O where you have to go around and unite the galaxy against the reapers... this means settling the Quarian-Geth conflict...

Could anyone who paid more attention clear this up?
Well, Tali does state that she respects the peace advocating admiral's point of view although she disagrees with him. That needn't mean she advocates war however, but perhaps instead simply does not believe it is possible to negotiate a peace with the Geth (and why would she? She has apparently only had contact with the Heretics who want to see all organic life eradicated).

She does. You do all her side missions and ask her to talk and she opens up to you. i forgave her but i still didn't see why she couldn't come. Oh well, her loss Tali's gain

So then she's on the fence about it all? I wonder if your decisions and opinions on the subject with both Tali and Legion in ME2 will effect her decision AND the decisions of the fleet. Damn, I hate how the most subtle opinions you have could effect an entire species.The_KFD_Case wrote...

Ok, well it's covered in the official comic book. If you didn't buy the CE version did one of your friends? It illustrates how Liara goes to Omega to meet up with Thane and is attacked by mercenaries (Blue Suns I think?) in an effort to track down a Shadow Broker contact so they can reclaim Shepard's body. Apparently the Shadow Broker wants to sell it to the Collectors whereas Cerberus has been working with Liara to get it for their Lazarus project.

She is torn... she wants her people to have a home but war with Geth would devastate the Quarians if not push them to the brink of Extinction. There fleet is aging wrecks.... Still she is sick of living in the suit. She is really torn on the matter an sees it as a no win for them either way... You get a good sense of her feelings about the war with Geth during her loyalty mission...She is just plain frustrated.

Indeed, I recently bought an amazing custom Alienware Aurora from a friend (only $150 for everything and it works great). Of course, there was a catch, the OS was wiped so I could build my gaming experience from the ground up, therefore I'm running Linux until I can afford Windows 7 and my Tali.

Yes! I don't really mind where on Earth, yet I would love to have a mission from Earth and be able to land there in the final Shepard game.
