hmmm do you guys think it would be cool if shepard could get a Quarian costume to wear?

I was actually kind of disappointed that he didn't.  In Ascension, the humans who visited the flotilla all wore the enviro-suits so that they wouldn't contaminate anything.  I figured it would be the same on the flotilla mission, but then I was wrong.

They were wearing their own envirosuits, much as Shepard and Co. are seen wearing in the ME and ME2 games whenever you set foot onto a place with a non-breathable atmosphere.  Pretty standard equipment in the Mass Effect universe I would think, as most people offworld are probably two feet of bulkhead away from sucking vacuum at any given moment.

maybe he will get one in me3 (hope, hope). He will probably join the Flotilla is my thinking. Everyone else (even TIM, if you destroy the base) has turn their backs on him. Tali/quarians are the only ones who would treat him as one of their own.... Give him a home if you will, so he can help them re-take theirs...  And of course build that house

I dunno bout that, I think I pissed off half the admiralty board when i said they should seek peace w/ the geth. Aside from Tali and Quib Quib I don't think I have many supporters in there. But I'm still chummy w/ the council and Anderson, and now that I told TIM he could go strait to hell they might take me back.

True, It would be dependant as to how you played the game/ handled the situation. All I saying is Flying around in the Normandy is cool and all, but at the end of the day you need somewhere you can hang your hat. I just want that to be w/ Tali, in our new house on the quarian homeworld.

Limitations of game, sadly. Should be fully covered.

Except for Jack and Miranda of course....

Don't forget Samara/Morinth.

One's an extreme MILF, the other'll kill you if you try... I tend not to take them along with me on mah sexy missions much

I remember that.  I should like to see Tali be married to Shepard by the end of ME3, but having her as an Admiral is a nice move too, though I would want her and Shepard to still be together.  Otherwise it would be very sad for me.

This! This is a must!Image IPB

They can still be together if she's an admiral. Image IPB

Where there are several Admirmals,
Shala'Raan vas Tonbay (is very unknown, but i would say she might lean towards peace and colonies)
Han'Gerrel vas Neema (Wants War, but i would be able to convince him otherwise)
Daro'Xen vas Moreh (I want my dog back even though i kick it)
Zaal'Koris vas Qwib Qwib (Tali'Palm. Also peace.)
As well as a now as of yet empty space.

I agree with a lot of what you expressed. ME2 does seem to be an RPG-lite compared to ME1, and personally I preferred the weapon cooldown and the much, much larger array of weapons and armor. I also liked having more skills to spend points on although ME2 is not quite as barren as I had initially feared upon closer inspection (upgrades help alleviate this issue to some extent, I'll give Ray that).

I do not think the dialogue has been dumbed down, not at all. There was a metric ton of dialogue in ME2 and the game has to put up some boundaries sooner or later if it's to be finished. Would I have minded more dialogue options both inside and outside the field of romance? Not at all! Yet I am very satisfied with what dialogue there was.

Regarding biotic and tech powers I never did use them much for my own Shepard in ME1 (played as a soldier and continued with that play style in ME2 - I like pitched battles with heavy and fast firing weaponry). I do recall Tali being fierce with her tech abilities in ME1 which was one of the reasons I brought her along on many missions once she was levelled up. Generally speaking it seems some of the biotic and tech powers have been weakened in ME2, but again since I didn't use them much in ME1 my memory may not be entirely on target with that observation/claim.

Garrus' behaviour....Well, two years have passed, the man (in my case) who persuaded him to follow the paragon way died and Garrus' private world turned to dust with the Normandy gone and C-sec in an uproar. I don't find it unbelievable that he decided he had had enough and would seek out justice his own way in a place filled with criminal behaviour. Liara did get side-lined, I agree. If she had been my chosen love interest from ME1 (she wasn't - Ashley was) I think I might be more upset about her than I was with Ashley. At least in Ashley's case there seems to be justifiable emotional and professional reasons why she can't join you. Liara on the other hand gives you a hug and a kiss if you were together in ME1, from what I understand. Couldn't she have joined Shepard and still kept hunting for the Shadow Broker while on their journey though with less intensity? Possibly, but that was not to be. By the looks of it, it seems we can expect Liara and Ashley/Kaidan to make a full return in ME3. That game can't come soon enough as far as I'm concerned! :D

Feel free to come back here anytime.

Thanks for the kind words. About Garrus. Again... I think that is because the Council/Anderson/Udina decisions didn't matter all (the reapers are being denied, Anderson's power seems nil, he even doesn't show up being as a part of them). I felt the way decisions like that were handled were a total let down. But I don't want to derail this thread. It was merely an observation. The way I saw it anyway. ;)

About Tali... I have posted this in other threads as well: The Tali missions were the best. Assuming you treated her well then Tali stays the Tali she was in ME1. It was very well done. If you didn't treat her well then I am a bit puzzled by her reactions. It felt like she has no memory.

If I had to select the best crew member in ME2 then it would definitely be Tali. ;)
