Aw, she's not ugly. Her face is based on an actual person, hence why it's not perfect and turns some people off. I personally don't think it's the most beautiful of faces, but there is certainly beauty in it.

Pantedness can be tolerated for short peiods of time. Kinda like Tali being outta her suit. You can do it for a while, but it makes you kinda sick after a while, have to return the natural state of depantedness

I think you can, yes. You also have the option to change some of the major background and end-of-game decisions from ME1, plus your character's face if you wish.

The end-of-game decisions? I don't think so... At least, I never saw those options, only the class and face.

Anderson vs. Udina. I haven't  tested it by selecting "Udina" when Miranda asks (I opted for Anderson in ME1), so perhaps it doesn't change that decision but I would expect that it does.

I can appreciate Miranda while still loving Tali. I appreciate all the squad members. I just appreciate some of them more. Like Tali.

Well, I massacred Antilles in a ritualistic battle because he descrated my honor, Kami decided to evolve and extra toe on the outisde of his foot to see what it'd feel like, KFD cloned himself, allowing him to post almost twice as fast as he normally does (almost), and Marineborn has started a small, but extremely successful cult worshipping the holy image image of the sacred Chicken Foot.

I'm good, just got back from a publisher's event, got to meet a bunch of authors. A couple I know already, but it was nice to see them again. That, and I got to sit in a lecture on how to write a compelling Sci-fi story that said publisher would... well, publish!

Can you actually change those decisions? I thought they only showed you that you had made them, not that they allowed you to change them.

I haven't tested it, so I'm not 100% certain. However, in light of the fact that these questions take place at the beginning of ME2 and are part of other questions that flesh out your background it seems quite likely it is part of an in-game mechanism that allows new and returning ME players to mould their character as they like without having to go back and play through all of ME1. It does make me wonder if the news stories, etc. you hear regarding humanity's involvement with the Council would be markedly different. Udina is a wily politician after all.
