you say at the end that she's exiled as well as other things, if you actually played the game and payed attention you'd know that, that wouldn't happen.

And you even admit that you wanted to inspire anger within everyone here? i can only assume your other attempt was to get everyone to respond and start a flame war...

Also i kinda figured that you would be reading this thread and then think "hmmm what can i do to ****** them off? oh how bout write something that has no emotional value and then defend it like i'm an innocent noob!" well you are a noob, maybe you should try arguing with the Miranda fans, you'd have a better chance.

My problem was the fact that he came here with a (well-written) bullsh*t story about how Tali literally SUFFERS...

The fact that the character is someone you like is what makes the suffering so powerful. Yes, i keep that particular email in my inbox rather then moving it to the archives as well ^^

Indeed that is a problem. Tali was my first choice in ME1 too, I only picked Liara because Tali wasn't romanceable.
Ah, well. the article you linked still gets my hopes up. In order for Liara to get pissed, her rival would still need to be there and alive, which pretty much means that the ME2 romances carry over to ME3.
Good stuff.
Though now I should consider making another ME1 save, skipping the romance plots altogether, in order not to have a mad Liara in ME3.

Can you not differentiate between sorrow and love? Go away troll.

Even in sorrow, love can bloom.

If you did not love Tali, you would not feel sorrow for her death. The fact that you do feel this sorrow and empathy  further proves that you love her, and may strengthen that emotion within you.

I ask you this; when she was rejected, when she died crying in his arms, how much did you want to comfort her, and tell her that even though he did not love her, you do?

All Tali lovers, watch this: Many of you have probably seen it already, as have I, but man is that a beautiful video..! And the song..<3

I really see nothing special with the song, just another piano + vocals song. But then again, i normally listen to metal, so i am unable to comprehend what is so special with artists that use few instruments in their songs.

However, the video was nice.

I just started my 2nd playthrough, Male Paragon, and after careful consideration i decided to pick Vangaurd, it is much more fun than Soldier i think, and i figured it would suit me best. I will pick Tali as romance this time aswell, simply the best romance. And there were some errors i did during the campaign that i want to correct.

2nd playthrough is always better i think.

Can't get enough of Tali!

its the way it was written was what made people mad, not the fact that Tali suffers in it. In the story you depicted shepard as being a complete a**hole.  Regardless if shepard loved her or not, he would not be happy that a member of his crew died. And regardless the way you feel about somebody, if their dying in your arms, why wouldn't you for the love of god tell them whatever they wanted to hear, regardless if its true or not, just to ease their passing. This wasn't so much about Tali suffering as it was about shepard being a an uncaring sob.

This is true. NOT THE POINT. If everyone here who loves Tali realizes that sorrow can, and most often does lead to further love, than why do you feel the need to post that story? Really, I mean, if we get the concept and have known how it works since the launch of the game, what makes you think we want to experience sorrow?

For me, the ways i's sees it.

Shepard is the commanding officer of the SSV normandy.
He has been in the service since he was 18 years old, going all over the galaxy.
He suffered a horrific blow to his life when his entire unit was wiped out on Akuze.
Then he got to have sex with the consort.

Everything just kinda went up from there
until you know, he died:unsure:
Then things got better again! ... somehow.
New pimp ship, same pimp pilot, old friends, new friends, and new love :]
