Question. Is there alot of info about Rannoch. Was it a 'low light' planet, like quite away from it's sun, or high cloud cover?
It's supposed to be quite arid, so i assume it's closer to a sun with less clound cover. Though that might be because of war.

Love has no limits and the fact that there can be "enough" love in some people's minds quite angers me. You only love someone if it has no limits. Yes, Tali is a video game character but she does a damn good job of inspiration. Some people, including myself, compare Tali to a current companion, loving each equally because they are both so familiar. You get that butterfly feeling and you know you can just fall in love with the person, that is when you know that you love Tali.

Rannoch being the Quarian homeworld? well...we know it didn't have much for insects, or maybe not at all. Plant life developed using the large animals to get their pollen around...What few virus' there were on the planet, seemed to be beneficial in some way, resulting in a weak immune system of the Quarians.
thats all i can think of

I am curious because of the Quarians glowing eyes. I know here, nocturnal animals have a tapetum lucidum (mis-spelt?). Which is basically another reflective surface in the eye to direct more light toward the retna. Was wondering if there would be a reason Quarians would also have something like this, if they lived in a low light environment. Maybe glowing eyes due to light bouncing off this tapetum lucidum from interal lights in helmet, more than their eyes actually glowing on their own. Like a cat or deer. (I don't remember if subject was brought up before, getting tired)

Well said: Tali's compassionate and caring personality reminds me of my S.O. IRL. Finally, a video game character that is like the women I'm attracted to!

Yeah, maybe it's the light reflected from the HUD inside the helmet. That would be my guess too.

Dunno, could be because they live in low light ships+ dark suits. Or could be for the same reason that asari have tentacle heads, 'cuz.

I thought of that, but they've only been living on ships for just over 300yrs. I don't think that is enough time to have that kind of change in their physiology. It must have already been present before they left their homeworld. I'm probably putting too much thought into it.SirEmilCrane wrote...

Ah, I feel better now
I really like this pic. I think there was a comment questioning the inclusion of a headpiece when it first surfaced.
I think there would be a headpiece-like object under the mask. However I think it wouldn't be ornamental. I saw it as sort of a clip or hinge for the top of the mask... anyway, that's just my input.

most likely.
It could be the hud reflecting in their eyes. We don't know a lot about their physiology yet so we'll have to wait. Though the throught of KalReegar with glowing eyes amuses me greatly.
