I wish there was a dialogue when you have Tali in your party when you meet Fist on Omega.

Wait... Fist on Omega... WHA.....?

yup, he's a dock worker if you didn't kill him in ME1 (or bring wrex with you)

I don't know whether to be shocked that the Shadow broker didn't send another person after him, or that someone played ME1 and didn't bring Wrex along as soon as you found him. :o

lol don't look at me, that ass is dead in all of my saves, just read about it here

I do not support any fighting on my ship, unless there's jello and nudity involved. In which case, Miranda could knock Tali out with just a simple chest bump ^_^

Yeah; who wouldn't have brought Wrex right then and there?

I rarely brought Wrex, even there, took it upon myself to serve a little street justice. Wrex gives you the bounty  for killing fist if you recruit him later. Don't know if he did that if he was already with you.

Tali'Zorah nar Rayya. It may be 688+ pages on the second (or 10th, depending on who's counting) Tali thread, and yet I STILL can't believe Bioware acquiesced to our desire to romance her in ME2. I always thought I was a minority for liking her more than Ashley or Liara, but she was just too cute, too charming, too non-assuming, too self-less, too exotic, and too sweet not to like.

And now in ME2, everything, EVERYTHING just "works" perfectly. It feels so natural. It makes sense. It's handled in a realistic, mature, sweet, and believable way. More than any other "romance" it FEELS like a romance, rather than a couple of saucy innuendos or flirting like with the other LIs. This was something that built up over time, years, a proverbial powder keg waiting for the right spark (thank you, Kelly, for alerting me to this...)

And I love how the relationship still isn't going to be easy. The complications and risks were addressed and minimized, but a relationship like this can't be "just a fling". It would require lots of work, sacrifice, commitment.... basically, all the best qualities of true love. And yet, Tali risks everything she is, puts her life entirely in your hands, and demonstrates the most intimate and personal display of love and trust anybody could ever demonstrate... and that certainly serves as a key motivator to step it up for her. She could have done what others in her culture did, but she wouldn't do that for you. She felt you deserved better... and by extension, she deserved the best.

Strange that you're the savior of the Citadel, the hero of the galaxy, the paradigm of humanity, the champion of the Alliance... and yet around Tali all those achievements pale in comparison to being the man she wants and needs you to be. No other romantic interest evokes that same feeling of nobility, of strength. Tali is unique in that, and that's precisely what makes her not just great, but perfect.

I just enjoy badass characters with little to know emotional baggage... Hearing how they decapitate people and then cry because someone left them ruins the moment for me, so Wrex is perfect. :)

Miranda: I didn't even think that thing was real. You never use it.
Tali: Hands off Shepard b**ch.

It helps that its written in first person, I think. Story-wise this is a powerful motivation for Shepard (or the player) to go after the reapers for. I'm happy with her alive, though, at least for my playthrough  emotionally unbolstered story be damned

Good morning ladies and gentlemen!

Aye, that story "My Choices, My Mistakes" had me crying several times. There are some spelling errors, etc. yet the story is so emotionally potent and well put together that one can easily ignore the minor flaws and savour the story telling itself.

Two thumbs up from my quarter.

Very well put. The other day a discussion was being had on here as to whether we would like Tali's immunity issues to be cured, so she could leave the suit permanently. I was of the opinion that it was too powerful a tool of the romance plot to just throw away. Something intimate that only they can share, a problem that they have to deal with together as a couple, and something that reinforces that it's a commited relationship, and not just a one-nighter.Image IPB

Plus, I would think if she was raised her entire life with the belief that sharing your face and body with someone is the highest point of intimacy, you wouldn't just start walking around the ship in jeans and a t-shirt. Image IPB
