Agreed. The 3D experience of "Avatar" (and the movie itself) was better than I had expected when I watched it in January.

That Na'vi tigress is quite alluring in her own right. What is it with exotic alien chicks, eh? 

Meh, it was ok. I felt it got way too much recognition for being Pocahontas in space with naked blue people. It had some nice 3d effects and the CG in it was kinda cool looking I guess. It was pretty compelling and it made you care about the characters. Other than that I didn't think it did anything special. Also...at the end...why wouldn't they simply nuke Pandora from orbit?

I had more or less made up my mind not to watch it, but then a friend asked if I wanted to go watch it and since it was one of the last times I'd get to hang out with him before leaving the country I'm currently in, I decided to go ahead with it. It was enjoyable for me.

As for not nuking the place, well, that would simply make mining operations more difficult and thus more expensive due to the radioactive fallout. Also - and this is speculation - I don't know how, or if, the metal in question might react...unfavourably...to a thermo-nuclear blast.

i agree on all that everyone has said about the quarian in the citadel, plus the usual attitude given to the quarians

but the attitude is caused by the creation of the geth, the flotilla kinda acting like a hive of locust when they enter a system, and i imagine after the geth attack on the citedal, it'd be even worse.

I can understand the council races...displeasure at the quarian presence, but really it comes down to the AI. And in regards to the AI, I'm fairly certain that had the Quarians not created it, some other species would have. I find it hard to believe the asari/turians/salarians didn't have AI projects before the geth, when humanity was willing to risk it AFTER. Really, they're just hating them for being the first to slip up.

the laws against AI, i think according to Codex, started AFTER the geth uprising, and was the cause of the laws. I think most council species don't like them, as far as geth AI are concerned, is because they created these AI's, then tried to kill them off, failed, got pushed out of their own space systems, and now the Council races have a large number of, as far as all organics think minus Shepard, his crew and Legion, Hostile AI synthetics with massive fleets, capable of great technilogical feats...or so they think.

I did a check on the wikia and the laws came before, but that doesn't matter because it still stands that the council sees the geth as a threat. Hopefully we can reverse that, and there'll be an ending with all forms of life (council, geth, quarian, even rachni) living in peace

aah okay, but i think i also remember though, to start, they were just VI's used for manual labor and war, and then they started "linking" them together and thats what started them turning into AI's...all to much tech for me to explain well but ya get the idea

and yea i hope in the third there will be possiblites for all the races to be victorious...but i can't help but think, in the end...sacrifices will HAVE to be made

i totally expected something more romantic with that.... But it got me thinking I might want to wait to talk to Fist until I have Tali in the party... damn now I need to do ANOTHER playthrough... here comes game 16... think I will try out the Sentinel this time.

If those are for mercs, does that mean that there is only one brand of "car" that civies use? 

Well it just mean the comfort Shuttle Cabs are cheap to make and there are many of them.
