I'm actually not torn up about it... because I didn't romance her in ME1 because her "I'm barely more than a child" speech gave me this creepy Chris Hansen vibe.

Even if I did, I figure Feron can be a nice rebound buddy for her. And she's changed. She may have done things for love, but so did Anakin Skywalker (and that turned out great, right?). She's turning into someone I neither agree with nor feel love for. She's turning into her mother, despite her statements to the contrary. The Liara I knew would never threaten to flay someone alive with their mind, crush somebody to fit into a coffee cup, or intentionally stalk and assassinate other information agents to suit her personal vendetta.

Two years changed her. It changed alot of people. While Ashley/Kaiden moved on, Garrus became more alienated from society, and Wrex became stronger, Tali is the only one to maintain hope without compromising who she is in the process. Liara is a strong woman, but I'm certain if Tali had the necessary skills and resources she'd have done the same for you... without turning into the very thing she hates.

I view Liara as a tragic character. Maybe she'll redeem herself in ME3. But I feel little love for her. Sympathy and regret for what she's become, but no love.

I did read it many days ago ( collector's edition ME2 )
It really looks like Liara puts much effort to find Shepard. But after playing the game ( the base of the whole ME idea ) it seems to be completely other.

Well, to paraphrase another Asari on Illium, Liara's got several hundred years to live, love, lose, and love again. "You just tough it out for a hundred years and then move on." I imagine in the hundreds of years to come, she could find somebody else special.

Tali, however, doesn't have that luxury. Her life is as short as yours is. You may be her one and only chance at true happiness, to be loved for who she is.

lol, just heard Jokers comment on Tali for the first time. "Well I always liked Tali so let's just move on." Joker has some of the best lines in the game, best pilot ever.

she even said when you talk to her in ME2 "it was either giving him up to Cerberus, or the Collectors"

she didn't have much of a choice.

Actually I stumbled into the Legion fan forums and I camea cross something Awesome.... How to have Tali from the first time you have the Normandy! Yes thats right folks... new conversation options? Who knows! Legion actually has some neat stuff to say if you have him when you go get Jack.... When I told Jack it wasnt smart to be my enemy Legion says "High statistical probability of death by gunshot. A fist to the face is also a possibility"

Who knows what Tali will have to say the first time you see Garrus? Or Jack?

"Thanks to the internet and it's many intelligent users (/sarcasm) a way to have Legion from the beginning of ME2 is possible.

Step
1) Download and install this tool allowing you to edit the Coalesced
(File that contains weapon, squad, mission, and other game data):
http://social.biowar...m/project/1854/
Step 2) Open it up, and search for the folder you have ME2 installed to.
Step 3) Use the search bar and search for "SFXGame.BioSFHandler_PartySelection"
Step 4) Find "AvailableLabel=IsSelectableGeth" and change "Geth" to "Leading"
Step 5) Click on the Rebuild Coalesced tab
Step 6) Enjoy Legion ingame, his loyalty mission and everything else should work just fine

Notes:
You can edit a lot of things with the Coalesced editor, such as giving
weapons more ammo, making shotguns useful, adding the ability to use
five weapons as any non-Soldier class, and more.
Legion apparently has audio (voice, opinions, etc) for nearly every mission in ME2.

I think it's supposed to be reflection in this case.  We're just used to seeing the glowing eyes, so it might seem like that.
